Sonakshi Sinha is amongst the most upfront actresses in Bollywood who never shied away from voicing her opinions. Her versatile acting performances in films like Akira, Lootera, Double XL, Dabangg, and more have won hearts. The actress is also known for her beauty and impressive screen presence. In her personal life, Sonakshi Sinha married Zaheer Iqbal under the special marriage act on June 23, 2024. The best friend turned lovers have always set couple goals with their fun banter. Recently, they were spotted at an event where Sonakshi Sinha revealed she was never under pressure to learn cooking before or after her marriage.
Recently, Sonakshi Sinha attended a promotional event for a travel company in the city with her husband, Zaheer Iqbal. During the event, they discussed their preferences and food travel destinations. Sonakshi revealed nowadays there is no pressure on women to learn cooking because everyone understands they have work and home life. She shared that cooking is also about interest, and she wasn't pressured to cook before or after marriage. She was quoted as saying:

"In today's time, there is no such pressure on women (to cook) because everyone knows women have their work lives and their home lives as well. It is also a matter of interest. I'm truly blessed that I don't have that pressure (of cooking)."
Sonakshi added that if she ever goes ahead and learns to cook, it will be due to her personal choice and not any pressure. During the event, Sonakshi and Zaheer were tasked with cooking together and had a lot of fun. At the same time, the actress added that she enjoyed cooking with her husband and would love to learn it in future.
At the same event, when Sonakshi tried her hand at cooking with husband, Zaheer Iqbal, she shared that it was the first time she attempted to cook anything. The actress mentioned that her mother would be happy because she is a great cook. Also, Sonakshi said that her mother, Poonam Sinha, thought she would become a good chef after her marriage to Zaheer Iqbal and is still waiting. In her words:
"The happiest person today would be my mom. She's a fantastic cook. She thought her daughter would become a good chef which never happened. She thought I might become a good chef when I get married. She's still waiting (for that to happen). I was under a lot of pressure, but I think I did quite well… I enjoyed myself. I would love to learn (cooking) a lot more in the future."
On the work front, Sonakshi received a lot of love and appreciation for her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's web series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. She was last seen in the horror-comedy Zee5 movie, Kakuda co-starring Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem. She will next be seen in the film, Nikita Roy and The Book of Darkness.
