Salman Khan, the Bhaijaan of Bollywood, is hailed for his marvellous acting skills, handsomeness, and more. The actor was last seen in the movie, Tiger 3. Apart from his professional life, Salman's personal life has always been a topic of discussion. The actor has been linked with several actresses in Bollywood, and it all ended with much public attention. While Salman's marriage has been a topic of discussion, there was a time, when the actor's wedding cards were ready, but he called it off.
Salman Khan was about to marry his ex-girlfriend, Sangeet Bijlani, but the actress caught him with Somy Ali, red-handed. Recently, Somy Ali revealed the story of what happened that day. Somy shared that back then, she used to live in Vindyachal, and Salman would come to meet her in her room through the window by climbing up the pipes. Somy said that she found it very romantic. She further added that at that time, Salman was dating Sangeeta, and even their wedding cards were ready. In Somy's words:

"I was living in Vindyachal that time. Salman used to climb the pipes and come to my room through my window. I found this act of Salman utterly romantic. It was a two-bedroom apartment. However, I remember one day he came over at around 10:30 am when this incident happened. He was still seeing Sangeeta at that time and in fact, their wedding cards had been printed as well."
Going forward in the interview, Somy Ali shared how Salman was caught red-handed. The actress revealed that one day Salman came to her room to meet her. The ex-couple was chatting with one another in her room when Sangeeta slammed open the door and confronted Salman, asking her to make a choice. Somy said Salman asked her for 10 minutes, and she thought that he would break up with her and marry Sangeeta since the wedding cards were ready. But on the contrary, Salman came back after 10 minutes and told Somy that he had broken up with Sangeeta instead. Stating that she felt it to be her fate, Somy revealed:
"Salman and I were sitting and talking in my room and Sangeeta walked in suddenly. She looked at Salman and said, "This is it. You have to make a choice." Salman told me, 'Somy I'll be back in 10 minutes.' I assumed that he would go ahead and marry Sangeeta since the wedding cards had already been printed. But he came back to the room and told me that he had broken up with Sangeeta and he wanted to be with me. I felt like it was fate."
In the same interview, Somy Ali mentioned that when she was doing her first film with Salman Khan, it eventually got shelved, but she showed the actor a photo, stating that she came to India just to get married to him. Somy said that Salman told her that he had a girlfriend, and she replied that it was the actor and her destiny to be together. Calling herself stupid, Somy said:
"When we were shooting for our first film together, which eventually got shelved, I showed him a picture and told him that I am in India to marry him and that I had no interest in acting. He giggled and told me that he has a girlfriend already. I said, 'That doesn't matter, we are going to be together. Our fate in inevitable, you just watch.' That's the dream that I had from the Creator. But I was a stupid kid who left Florida to come to India for Salman. Who does that?"
In the same interview, Somy Ali shared that Salman Khan started dodging her call when he was shooting for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. So, the actress called SLB and asked about Salman. The director said that the actor was busy shooting, but as soon as Somy started cross-questioning him, he had no answers to the same. Somy added how Aishwarya started coming to Salman's gym in the Galaxy apartment, and their servants would provide her with the information.
