Salman Khan, the most wanted bachelor of Bollywood, often made it to the headlines with his personal life. The actor's name has been tagged to several Bollywood actresses like Somy Ali, Sangeeta Bijlani, Katrina Kaif, and Aishwarya Rai. Well, Salman's wedding was even fixed with Sangeeta, when the actor was caught by the actress with Somy Ali. In an interview, Somy Ali shared how she apologised to Sangeeta for the same, and how the latter reacted.
In an interview with Zoom, Somy Ali shared that years after Sangeeta and Salman had broken up, the former asked for apologies. Somy said she said sorry to Sangeeta, who in response replied that she doesn't care, as she was happily married to her then-husband, Azhar Azharuddin. Somy said that it was after a month that Sangeeta called it quits with Azhar. She also added that when Salman and her relationship began, she was 16 and didn't know what she was doing. Later, she realised that breaking a marriage was wrong, and thus, she wanted to apologise to Sangeeta. Somy can be quoted as saying:

"I told her I was deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart. I was a child then and I did not know what I was doing. She told me 'I don't care, I am happily married to Azhar' but next month, she filed for a divorce from him. I knew that what the 16-year-old Somy Ali did was wrong. She broke up a marriage. I wanted to take the higher road and apologise to Sangeeta."
Salman Khan reportedly started dating Sangeeta Bijlani back in 1986, and it was on May 27, 1994, when the duo's wedding was fixed. The cards were ready, and it was only a month before that Salman and Sangeeta's wedding was called off for the actor's infidelity. Somy was staying in Vindyachal, and Salman used to meet her in her room by climbing pipes. Well, one day, while Salman was with Somy in her room, Sangeeta appeared there and confronted Salman. Salman asked for 10 minutes from Somy, and she thought her relationship with the actor was over and he would get married to Sangeeta only. The opposite thing happened, and Salman broke up with Sangeeta.
After breaking up with Salman Khan, Sangeeta fell in love with once India-cricketer, Azhar Azharuddin. When Azhar Azharuddin met Sangeeta, he was already married to Naureen, with whom he has two kids. Well, in 1996, Naureen got divorced from Azhar Azharuddin, and the latter got married to Sangeeta. Well, love seemed to be unlucky on Sangeeta's part, as she was divorced from the cricketer back in 2010, after 14 years of their marital bliss, for his link-up buzz with Indian badminton player, Jwala Gutta.
It was back in 2022, when Sangeeta Bijlani was spotted at Salman Khan's birthday bash. In several photos and videos that went viral, Salman could be seen kissing gently on Sangeeta Bijlani's forehead. And such a sweet moment won everyone's hearts.
