Marriage is both amazing as well as very hard to deal with. Along with a lifelong commitment, the holy bliss of wedlock comes with other responsibilities that none can shudder off. While ups and downs, highs and lows are a part and parcel of being married or for that matter living life, it is up to us how we make our marriage work. Celebrity couples are whom we look up to and they are the ones who set examples for others. One such strong couples from the Tinseltown is Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu.
Slowly and steadily, after taking their own sweet time and living in together for a few years, Soha and Kunal finally came to the conclusion of growing old with each other. They took the marital plunge on January 25, 2015, and almost two years down the lane, on September 29, 2017, they welcomed their joint production, their little angel, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. Ever since then, the two have been successfully handling their couple love, their time with Inaaya and their professional life. Recently, in an interaction with a Hello! Magazine, Kunal revealed the secret behind his successful marriage with Soha and was quoted as saying, “A lot of people give advice on marriage and I’ve heard a lot – but I think marriage cannot be the elephant in the room. You have to live it every single day and enjoy it like everything else.”
On the other hand, talking about their married life, Soha remarked, “I always said that it is completely irrelevant whether we get married or not but what matters is the promise that we make to each other and it should be a commitment to try and be together for as long as we can make each other happy.” (You May Like: Sushmita Sen Hugging Rohman Shawl In The Pool Screams Of Passionate Love, She Rocks A Black Monokini)
Further revealing what she wishes for Inaaya when she puts her to sleep, Soha quipped, “Our lives have changed so much. It’s impossible to be impulsive as we were in the past. Our daughter Inaaya Naumi is our collective priority and at the moment, I am obsessed with her. Every time I put Inaaya to bed I wish that she has a long and happy and healthy life. I wish the same for us. Really I think it’s about being content.”

Earlier, in a media interaction, Soha had revealed her first impression of Kunal and had shared, "When we did our first film, Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge, we didn’t speak much at all. I thought we would never be friends, forget being in a relationship. Then we did the film 99 and we got closer. I was immediately attracted to him. I thought he was a very attractive man. I noticed his eyes and his smile. He was quiet, silent and mysterious in many ways. He kind of drew me in."
On the other hand, Kunal had shared that he had a view of her as an Oxford graduate, who has become an actress. Also, he had revealed that he had to think a lot before talking to her for the first time. In Kunal’s own words, "My first impression was that here is this Oxford graduate and I don't know why she is acting in films. When I met her on the sets, she was writing an article on her laptop to send to Oxford University for their magazine. So, I thought, this is serious stuff, I should think before I start a conversation with her. We didn’t speak much.” (Do Read: Newly Engaged Garima Jain Wishes Fiance Raahul Sarraf On His Birthday With An Adorable Picture)
He had further gone on to add, “I respected her as a professional. It was only towards the end of Dhoondte that we happened to spend some time on the sets. It was very interesting because she’s had an upbringing completely different from mine, so the stories of her life were very different — hers were about Oxford and mine were about local trains. But even then, we used to have a lot of healthy debates and that’s how we got talking. Gradually it developed into a relationship."
Earlier, talking about what change Inaaya had brought into her life, Soha had quipped, “But ultimately it is just us at home. So, it’s quite different. The obvious change for me is that I am used to being in control of things. I am a control freak. I like to plan and organise things, whether it’s fitness, eating on time and getting my ten hours of sleep. All of that has gone out of the window. I’m no longer the boss, Inaaya is. Life revolves around her.”
The Rang De Basanti star had also revealed the values that she would want Inaaya to imbibe, “I want Inaaya to be her own person. I would like her to have open communication with me. Things like integrity, trust, loyalty, being kind to others, are some of the things I would like to see in her. It shouldn’t be that Inaaya remains only surrounded by love and positivity. She should also be a strong person, with the sense of security to withstand criticism and also be able to laugh. I think having a sense of humour is very important.” (Checkout: Real Bride Pratishtha's Unique 'Meenakari Mangalsutra' Outshined In Her Self-Designed Bridal Look)
