Sobhita Dhulipala got married to the man of her dreams, Naga Chaitanya, at a grand wedding soiree. The gorgeousness' real-life bridal avatar was nothing less than a Goddess. From traditional pattu cheera saree to maximal jewellery to honour her Telugu heritage, Sobhita's love for the amalgamation of modernism and culture was very much clear. Throughout her wedding soiree, starting from her engagement, Sobhita has shelled out minimalistic bride vibes by shelling out goals.
Well, do you know that the wedding saree for which Sobhita Dhulipala herself chose the material from authentic shops was from the same designer who was behind Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's iconic wedding saree? Yes, as per reports, Sobhita Dhulipala's wedding saree was designed by the famous designer, Neeta Lulla. For the unversed, Neeta was the one who designed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's wedding saree.
Talking about the price of Sobhita Dhulipala's wedding saree, it might have cost lakhs. Sobhita's bridal saree was customised, and Neeta Lulla's sarees' price ranges from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 2.15 lakhs. While Sobhita's antique gold Kanjiveram saree for her wedding with Naga Chaitanya is customised, it can have a few more amounts added to it. For the unversed, reports were rife that Neeta Lulla took either crores or Rs. 75 lakh to make Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's wedding saree. The designer didn't reveal the exact price of the saree, but she quashed all the buzz about its high price and mentioned that it was a mere Kanjiveram saree with a plain blouse with zari work.
For her wedding, Sobhita Dhulipala wore an antique gold Kanjeevaram silk saree with real gold zari, which had intricate motifs and structure. The saree is called pattu cheera, and the actress herself found the fabric from the local authentic shops by ditching any stylist's help. Sobhita teamed her saree with maximal jewellery to honour her Telugu heritage, which included a basikam (a decorative forehead ornament), a maathapatti, a bullaki (nose pin), a three-layered gold necklace and gold kadhas, and a classy bajubandh. Her makeup was also gorgeous, including golden-shimmery eyeshadow, finely-lined eyeliner, chocolate-toned lipstick, and a tied-up hairdo, which added stars to her look.
For her engagement, Sobhita Dhulipala donned an upadda silk saree, made in the hues of lotus and a traditional flower, Kanakaambaram. The saree also featured the design of the Telugu artist, Bapu. She opted for gold jewels to finalise her look. A dewy-based makeup and Jada-adorned hair braid added stars to her look.
