Sobhita Dhulipa knows how to carry her style effortlessly. However, her fans are waiting to see her much-awaited wedding look with fiancee Naga Chaitanya. For months, rumours have been circulating that the pair was dating, and now they are all set to get married on December 4, 2024. Sobhita will be starting a new chapter of her life. However, it is being speculated that she will be wearing traditional jewellery for her special day.
A source close to DNA revealed that Sobhita would be wearing a traditional Kanjivaram silk saree with a drizzle of real gold zari. She picked up the same while shopping with her mom. She is also getting a simple white khadi saree woven in Ponduru, Andhra Pradesh, along with a matching set, following tradition. Sobhita is personally involved in every detail, adding a unique and heartfelt touch to her big day. A source close to IANS revealed that the actress would be wearing royal jewellery like maathapatti, bajubandh and a kamarbandh for her wedding with Naga Chaitanya. The source said:

"Sobhita will be seen wearing various kinds of traditional jewellery at her wedding. She will adorn a Baasikam (the thread across the forehead), Maathapatti, Bullaki (septum nose pin), Surya and Chandra motifs on her head, Vanki, Bajubandh, and Kamarbandh. With these accessories, the actress will undoubtedly stay true to her roots, exuding sheer traditional Indian elegance."
The source further revealed that Sobhita and Chaitanya would be having a South Indian wedding for more than 8 hours. It would be followed according to the Telugu Brahmin tradition, which Sobhita and Chaitanya follow for their wedding. The source also added that to honour the cultural aspects and give respect and attention to all the beautiful details of a Telugu wedding, they are going all out with an over 8-hour traditional hard-core old-school wedding.
Sobhita and Naga are set to have a fairytale wedding on December 4, 2024, at Naga Chaitanya's family-owned Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. 300-400 guests are expected to attend, including the couple's closest friends, family members, and colleagues. It was reported earlier that Netflix would acquire the wedding rights for a lump sum amount of Rs.50 crore, but this was touted as baseless. There was no truth to the reports, and the rumours surrounding the sale of their wedding film are purely speculative and far from any truth.
Chaitanya was previously married to Citadel: Honey Bunny star, Samantha Prabhu. The former couple married in 2017 after dating for a couple of years. Fans speculated troubles in their paradise when they noticed Samantha dropping Akinneni's surname from her Instagram username. They separated in 2021, a few days before their 4th wedding anniversary. Samantha and Chay had announced their separation by sharing a joint divorce statement.
