Sobhita Dhulipala Wipes Tears As Naga Chaitanya Makes Her Wear A Mangalsutra During Wedding Ritual

Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya married at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on December 4, 2024. The rituals, which went on for hours, saw 'SoChay' in varied outfits. A new clip of the newly married couple has surfaced online, where Sobhita is seen being emotional as Naga Chaitanya ties a mangalsutra around her neck.

 A new clip that has surfaced online showed Sobhita and Naga wearing red and white outfits. The wedding of Chaitanya and Sobhita may have been private, but the pictures and videos have already created a wave on social media. Sobhita, in this new viral video, could not hold back her tears when her husband tied the mangalsutra during the wedding ritual. For this particular ceremony, Sobhita donned a white saree with a red border.

Naga Chaitanya takes help from older women during mangalsutra ceremony

As seen in the video, Chay is seen bending down to place the mangalsutra around Sobhita's neck. He got some help from the elderly women who stood behind the bride. Friends and family members of the couple were seen hooting as the actor placed the exquisite mangalsutra around Sobhita's neck. Even Nagarjuna laughed in splits looking at the cute antic. Apart from Nagarjuna, the video showcased Venkatesh Daggubati, and Daggubati Suresh Babu. Chaitanya's brother, Akhil Akkineni, who recently got engaged, was also present, whistling and expressing joy at his brother's wedding.  

Nagarjuna shares first pictures from Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's wedding

Chaitanya's dad, Nagarjuna, shared the first photos of the newly married pair. He expressed his happiness for the pair on X. In the photos shared by the veteran star, Sobhita was seen wearing a golden antique saree with a red and golden zari border, while Chay was seen wearing a madhuparkham attire, which is a traditional white pancha that has a red border. Nagarjuna, in his post, said that the wedding celebrations held a deeper meaning as they unfolded the blessings of ANR Garu's statue, installed to mark his centenary year. It felt as if his love and guidance were present with all in every step of this journey. Nagarjuna, in his sweet post, wrote:

"I thank the countless blessings showered upon us today with gratitude. Watching Sobhita and Chay begin this beautiful chapter together has been a special and emotional moment for me. Congratulations to my beloved Chay, and welcome to the family dear Sobhita-you've already brought so much happiness into our lives."

Akkineni family shared the wedding statement

Soon after Sobhita and Chaitanya got married, the Akkineni family after the wedding ceremony concluded, wrote that the Akkineni family was delighted to announce the marriage of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala in a grand and traditional Telugu wedding held at the iconic Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, featuring an exquisite temple-themed setup. The statement further read:

“The wedding, held during the auspicious muhuratam of 8:13 PM, was a stunning display of Telugu traditions, with rituals performed under the guidance of elders.”
