The pre-wedding festivities have already kicked off ahead of their wedding on November 23, 2025. Now, the Indian Women's Cricket team was seen present at Smriti's haldi, and cheering for the vice captain. A clip has now gone viral where Palash, the would-be jija, was seen shaking a leg with his saali, Jemimah Rodrigues, which was all things cute.
Smriti Mandhana's teammates in Team India were seen dancing on the dance floor. Her squad included Shafali Verma, Arundhati Reddy, Shreyanka Patil, Renuka Singh Thakur, Radha Yadav, and Richa Ghosh, who were the 'team bride squad'. Now, amid this, a clip went viral where Palash, the would-be groom, was seen dancing with Jemimah on Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai. The video was all things wholesome as both of them were seen doing the hookstep of the song perfectly.

Palash looked dapper during his haldi ritual, wearing a yellow kurta pyjama and black sunglasses. Jemimah, on the other side, had worn a yellow-hued kurti, and as the jeeja saali were dancing, everyone rained flowers on the setting. Netizens could not stop commenting, "Cutest jija saali duo," while others dropped heart and love emojis on the video.

The Indian Women's Cricket Team off the field had strictly adhered to the yellow dress code at their player, Smriti Mandhana's haldi. However, the star performer of the day was Jemimah, who had helped India beat Australia at the semi-finals of the 2025 ICC Women's World Cup. Her infectious smile amid the falling flower petals added chaar chaaand to the entire haldi venue.

Another clip from the haldi ritual of Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal went viral on the social media. Both of them were seen sitting next to each other during their haldi ritual. Amid the flowers being rained on the pair, Smriti took a moment to remove all the flower petals stuck on Palash's head, who also did the same to Smriti.
