Now, amid this, a clip went viral where Palash, the would-be groom, was seen dancing with Jemimah on Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai. For the unversed, Smriti Mandhana is the vice-captain of the Indian Women's Cricket Team. She has been a known face in the international women's cricket team and has also captained the Royal Challengers Bengaluru back in the Women's Premier League (WPL). Smriti has also led her team back to the WPL title in the 2024 season. She has been a recipient of four ICC Awards, including Women's Cricketer of the Year, 2018, 2021, and also the ODI Cricketer of the Year back in 2018 and 2024.
