Smriti Mandhana Deletes All Pictures With Groom-To-Be Palash Muchhal After Wedding Gets Postponed

Smriti Mandhana's life turned upside down after her father, Shrinivas Mandhana, suffered symptoms of a heart attack on the day of her wedding. He was soon admitted to Sarvhit Hospital in Sangli, Maharashtra, on November 23, 2025. Following it, Smriti not only cancelled her wedding and postponed the affair, but she also deleted all her wedding-related posts from Instagram.

After the wedding was postponed, fans were quick to notice that Smriti deleted all her wedding-related photos and videos from her Instagram. In fact, the viral proposal and its engagement video were also removed from her Instagram feed. However, we cannot ascertain if it was removed or archived, but it is no longer available on her feed. 

It is also worth mentioning that her close friends and teammates, Jemimah Rodrigues and Shreyanka Patil, have also deleted the glimpses from the wedding festivities, which they have shared on their Instagram feed. However, other pictures with Palash remain on her Instagram. 

Smriti Mandhana's father's health update 

As per Tuhin Mishra, Smriti Mandhana's business manager, the family was preparing for the wedding when Srinivash Mandhana suffered a heart attack at the farmhouse. He was rushed to the hospital, causing tension and fear among the family. Meanwhile, the wedding has been postponed.

Smriti's father is admitted to the private hospital and is currently under observation. Sources close to the family confirmed that Smriti and her immediate family members are also in the hospital, as soon as they got the news. As of now, her father's condition is stable. However, the management informed the media that today's ceremony has been called off, and no one knows when the wedding festivities will resume. 

The planned marriage between Smriti Mandhana and Palash Mucchal has been postponed, and decorations were removed. The couple's family had requested privacy during the tough times as they want to focus all their attention on the recovery of Srinivas Mandhana.

For those who don't know, Smriti and Palash were expected to get married on November 23, 2025, with their close family, friends in attendance. Many members of the Women's cricket team were with Smriti during her celebrations. In fact, pictures and videos from the couple's Bollywood-like celebration were surfacing on the internet, and her fans were eagerly waiting for her to get married. The internet witnessed a vibrant haldi and mehendi ceremony of the couple. The two families also held a friendly cricket match, giving the new-age wedding vibes. 

Palash Muchhal was hospitalised a day after the wedding was called off 

After Smriti Mandhana's father was hospitalised, reports claimed that Palash Muchhal was also sick, causing chaos. Later, Palash’s mother revealed that her son was extremely attached to Smriti's father. He got extremely stressed after knowing about Shrinivas Mandhana's health. Amita was quoted as saying:

"Palash ko uncle se bahut zyada attachment hai… Smriti se zyada yeh dono close hain. Jab unko hogaya toh Smriti se phele Palash ne decision liya ke usko abhi phere nahi karne jab tak uncle thik nahi ho jaate."

Palash's mother claimed that his health got worse as he was crying due to Shrinivas Mandhana's sudden heart attack. She added that he was kept in the hospital for four hours and got IV drips. She said:

"Since haldi was done, we didn’t let him go outside. Rote rote ek dum tabiyat karab ho gai. 4 ghante hospital mein rakhna padha. IV drip chadi, ECG hua aur dosre tests hoye. Sab normal aaye but stress bahut hai."
