India's star cricketer, Smriti Mandhana is all set to start a new and exciting chapter of her life with her longtime partner, Palash Muchhal. For the unversed, Smriti and Palash have reportedly been dating since 2019, and the duo will be getting married very soon. The pre-wedding ceremonies have started. Recently, the couple had their haldi ceremony and now dreamy photos from their mehendi are going viral.

After having their haldi ceremony done just right, Smriti and Palash recently had their mehendi ceremony. Photos from the same are going viral and fans are going all gaga over it. For the unversed, two photos of the couple are going viral. In the first one, Smriti is seen wearing a gorgeous purple traditional lehenga, while her to-be-husband, Palash complimented her in a cream kurta paired with an embroidered jacket. In the photo, Palash was standing behind Smriti and his hands were sweetly wrapped around the cricketer. 

In another photo that is making rounds on all social media photos is of Smriti Mandhana with all her cricket teammates. All the female cricketers looked unrecognisable in gorgeous and vibrant traditional outfits. They were all smiles as they celebrated one of Smriti’s happiest days. Apart from this, the entire team flaunted their mehendis in the viral photo.

Palash Muchhal proposed to Smriti on the cricket ground

On November 21, 2025, Palash Muchhal took to his Instagram handle to share a glimpse behind his dreamy proposal to Smriti. For those who don't know, Palash surprised Smriti by blindfolding her and taking her to the middle of DY Patil Stadium, where he went down on his knees and proposed to her. He also gave a huge bouquet of red roses. Palash captioned the post as, "She said yes." The place made the proposal even more special, as a few weeks ago, Indian women's team lifted the World Cup trophy in DY Patil Stadium.

When Smriti Mandhana announced her engagement with Palash through a fun Instagram reel, it was the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, who took to his social media handle and congratulated the couple. Along with heartiest wishes, Modi ji also revealed the wedding date, which is November 23, 2025. A part of his could be read as:

"It is delightful to hear the wedding of Sou. Smriti and Chi. Palash to be held on November 23, 2025. Heartiest congratulations and greetings to the Mandhana and Mucchal. Walking hand in hand in every season of life may the couple find in each other's presence and their hearts, minds and souls be in harmony."
