The announcement about Hollywood actor, Simon Fisher-Becker's death was made by his husband, Tony Dugdale. In a heartbreaking post on Facebook, Tony took on to Simon Fisher's Facebook handle and penned a note in which he confirmed that the iconic actor is no more. The doting husband shared that Simon passed away around 2:50 on March 9, 2025. Tony's Facebook post can be read as:

"Hello everyone.  This is Tony, Simon's husband. I have some very sad news.  At 2:50 this afternoon Simon passed away. I'll be keeping this account open for a while.  I'm not sure at this point if I'll be posting again. Thank you."

As soon as the news of Simon Fisher-Becker's death made its way into headlines, people went completely numb on the internet. While some people remember his memorable roles, most people lauded the late actor for being the kind of person he was in real life. "I lost not only a client Simon Fisher-Becker, but a close personal friend of 15 years standing. He helped me out enormously and was always kind, gracious and interested in everyone."
