Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt were once madly in love. The duo met on the sets of Karan Johar's directorial film, Student Of The Year, which not only lifted their career but also brought them together. They were together for a brief period, and everyone knew about their love story. Not only this, Sidharth was the one, who gifted Alia her first baby, a pet cat whom she named Edward. However, not many know that Sidharth once made Alia cry as he faked an accident.
Earlier, during an episode of No Filter Neha, the host, Neha asked Sidharth about the most embarrassing thing he did to get a girl's attention. The actor revealed a shocking incident with Alia. He stated that they were going back from set in Coonoor, which was a hilly area. He decided to take a bike with a production member. And Alia was coming in the car behind them. He recalled how Alia was stressed seeing him ride the bike. Sidharth was quoted as saying:
"I thought abhi bohot ho gaya, gaadi main nahi jaana. I took a bike with my production EP. We were riding the bike in front and Shakun (Batra) and Alia (Bhatt) were in the car behind and they could see us. They were like, ‘Be careful. Why’re you riding this bike?’ Alia was all stressed out. Everyone was like why are you doing this? It’s a bike for god’s sake. We’re not going to space."

Sidharth further revealed that he got irritated with it, and so he took the right bend and stopped the bike in the corner and laid own, pretending that he had a fall. He added that Alia started crying the moment she saw him lying down on the ground. Sidharth felt super bad seeing Alia cry, and he instantly told her that it was a joke. Recalling the moment, Sidharth said:
"Those guys turned and screeched the car to a halt and were like shit, f*ck they’ve fallen down. We see Shakun and Alia stressed and Alia started crying because we were lying down as if we were dead. By the time they came, I saw her crying and I started feeling bad and I said I was fine, it was a joke. At least pyaar toh mila, koi toh royega jab aap jaoge."
After being in relationship with Alia, Sidharth fell in love with Kiara Advani. The duo met each other during a party in 2018. Since then, buzz about their dating started doing rounds. However, they kept their relationship hidden. In 2023, they surprised everyone with their wedding post, and they thoughtfully captioned it as "Ab humari permanent booking ho gayi hai."
On the other hand, Alia Bhatt found love in Ranbir Kapoor. The couple fell in love during the shooting of their film, Brahmastra in 2018. After dating for quite some time, Ranbir and Alia tied the knot on April 14, 2022, at their home in Mumbai. The same year, the duo welcomed their baby girl, Raha Kapoor.
