After Raghav Juyal, Siddhant Chaturvedi has also stepped forward to support his close friend and fellow actor Babil Khan, whose emotional breakdown video sent shockwaves across social media over the weekend. For those still under wraps, a video went viral in the early hours of May 4, 2025, when a Reddit thread posted a deleted meltdown moment of the actor, allegedly calling out the industry.
While netizens were divided about the viral clip’s intention, some even worrying about Babil Khan’s health, his close friends, Raghav Juyal and Siddhant Chaturvedi, extended their support for Qala actor. Taking to his IG Stories, Siddhant shared some unseen moments of Babil Khan, along with a strongly-worded message which read:
“I usually never engage in sh*t written about me and my colleagues, but this one's personal. So to all the Redditors, Gossip columns, and media portals of the internet. Stop. Siddhant also posted unseen moments with Babil, including a video from a jamming session where the two sang “Wake Me Up” by Avicii. In another heartfelt clip, Babil is seen scribbling his thoughts, saying, “Mujhe itihaas likhna hai, kitaab nahi”.
Babil’s close friend, Raghav Juyal, also came out in support of the actor. Reposting Team Babil’s official statement on his Instagram feed, Raghav expressed his solidarity, writing:
“BABIL is my family, and I am always with him no matter what.”
In an interview with The Times of India, Raghav Juyal expressed his views regarding the incident, clarifying that Babil has been going through a rough time. He talked about feeling ‘baffled’ at being labelled ‘rude’, only to later realise that it might have been a mix-up caused by miscommunication. Expressing his concern for Babil, the Kill actor also spoke to his mother, Sutapa Sikdar, following the incident. He said:

“He is obviously very disturbed… I spoke to his mother, Sutapa ma’am, and she says he is going through an anxiety attack… He needs to rest, he needs to understand we are all there for him… Babil meant to say I and some others were among those who had been supportive, while some others had been rude. It came out all mixed up.”
On the morning of Sunday, May 4, 2025, several clips surfaced online showing Babil in tears, expressing his disillusionment with the industry and naming stars like Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Arjun Kapoor, and others. The clips sparked wild speculation, with some interpreting them as a direct attack on these celebrities.
Babil’s team was quick to clear the air about the same. In an official statement, they revealed that the actor was going through a rough day and that the video was taken out of context. It also clarified that Babil was genuinely admiring his peers for their passion and efforts to bring authenticity back to cinema, but the whole thing was taken out of context and blown out of proportion, alleging that he was calling out his peers.
