One of the famous Hindi television actresses who enjoys a huge fan base is none other than Shewta Tiwari. The famous face of Hindi television is widely known for her character, 'Prerna', in Ekta Kapoor's soap opera Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She also worked in several other series like Parvarrish, Begusarai, and Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. Apart from television series, she participated in Bigg Boss in 2010 and won the show. The actress also appeared in shows like Nach Baliye, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, and Khatron Ke Khiladi. Presently, she is playing her role as 'Aparajita', in Zee TV's television series, Main Hoon Aparajita.
Despite being highly successful in her professional front, actress, Shewta Tiwari has had a massive rough phase in her personal life. The actress married Bhojpuri actor, Raja Chaudhary in 1998, but they got divorced in 2007. The duo is blessed with a girl child, Palak Tiwari. After that, Shweta married Abhinav Kohli in 2013, but that, too did not last long. The duo got divorced in 2016. Shweta and Abhinav have a son named Reyansh Kohli.

Once talking about her failed marriages in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shweta Tiwari revealed her reaction when people advised her not to get married again. The actress also shared her point of view on how people treat a 'wife-beater' while expecting the wife to hold onto that marriage. The actress argued that it is absurd that one person who leaves a two-year-long marriage is questioned by society while another who stays in a live-in relationship for ten years receives no such treatment. She also shared how people used to come up to advise her not to get married thrice. She said:
"You be in a live-in relationship for 10 years and leave, no one will question you but if you walk out of a marriage after two years, everyone will say, ‘How many times will she get married?’ People walk up to me to tell me ‘Don’t get married a third time.’ Will I ask them? Who are they? Are they paying for my wedding? This is my decision. This is my life."
In the same interview, Shweta Tiwari talked about how, after her failed marriages, people on Instagram used to come brutally troll her by saying that she got married twice so her daughter would be married five times. The actress then slammed the trollers by saying that maybe her daughter would never get married, as she could choose wisely after seeing what her mother had gone through. The actress said:
"People on Instagram tell me that I got married twice and my daughter will marry five times. But maybe she won’t get married at all. Whatever she has already seen, maybe she won’t. Maybe because of what she has seen, she can choose wisely."

The actress then shared what made her decide to divorce despite her family stopping her. Shweta Tiwari said that as a middle-class family child, she was generally taught to compromise and adjust. The actress revealed that the only concern of her family was what would happen to the kids if she walked out of the marriage. The actress then shared her realization after getting divorced. She said it would be worse for a kid to see their parents fighting or seeing their father drunk every day than to be raised by a single parent.

As per the reports, Shweta Tiwari's first marriage with Bhojpuri actor, Raja Chaudhary ended because of his alcoholism. The actress claimed that she went through domestic violence, as her first husband used to beat her every day and even used to show up and misbehave with her on the sets of her shows. As per the reason for her second divorce, the actress, Shweta Tiwari, accused her second husband, Abhinav Kohli, of harassing her and her daughter, Palak Tiwari. According to the reports, Abhinav Kohli was arrested by the police after the actress filed a complaint of domestic violence against him.
