A few days back, Shruti Seth had given a glimpse of her 'bibliophile', Alina, who was engrossed in reading her book given to her by her fairy godmother, Mini Mathur. Being proud of Alina for her love of books, Shruti had written, "Bibliophile. Devouring her recent loot from her favourite fairy godmother @minimathur and @sairahkabir I’m so glad her love for books has only increased with every passing year. And I’m sure once she is able to read even more fluently we’ll lose her to the magical places where books take you. We’ve always told her that so long as books are her friends she’ll never feel alone. Or bored. Here’s to raising a reader. #books #littlereader #lifeunderlockdown #bibliophile #shruphotodiary."
On her tenth marriage anniversary, Shruti Seth had posted a twinning in black picture with her hubby, Danish Aslam and had penned how they have made it through the 100 days of lockdown. Shruti had written, "Day 100 of lockdown Us! Still. @dontpanic79 I had really thought that being locked up together for more than a 100 days would’ve sent us climbing walls, but I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised at our mutual patience, support, empathy and love during this time. We’re clearly made of stronger stuff than we both imagined. Made it through a 100 days that seem like 10 years! Oh wait..." followed by a red heart emoticon.
A few weeks into the lockdown, Shruti Seth had posted a picture of her little sunshine, Alina, who was engrossed doing her work at her desk. Shruti had revealed in the caption how difficult it was to engage her little one at home and the meltdowns of Alina. She had written, "Busy at her desk. Keeping Alina occupied and constructively engaged during these last 80 odd days has been my hardest task( followed by what to cook today?) She’s had a few meltdowns asking when she can go back to school, meet her friends and play in the garden. It’s so hard to see your child feeling helpless and you not being able to assuage their anxiety and sadness. But may be this experience will teach her something valuable I’m hoping and she may have better priorities in life thanks to this event. Who knows? Only time will tell I guess. For now I try to keep her busy with old school books, some colouring apps, some online learning, drawing, ballet home workouts with me & @dontpanic79 and some activities on the iPad. I hope the kids are able to process this lockdown positively and move forward being more mindless than their parents. Love and hugs to all the kids out there and a high five to all the parents. In it together! #lifeunderlockdown #kids #littlehumans #parenting #shruphotodiary." (Also Read: Neha Dhupia Reveals How Keeping Baby Mehr At Home Is A Challenge And What Motherhood Has Taught Her)
