Shoaib Ibrahim Gives Latest Health Update Of His Wife, Dipika Kakar After Her Mammography, 'Ekdum..'

Popular TV actress, Dipika Kakar, has been documenting every detail of her recovery journey after she underwent stage 2 liver cancer 14-hour-long surgery. The actress had a tennis ball-sized tumour 1.5 months ago, which was cancerous. Now, recently, the actress had to undergo a mammography test as she had swelling of lymph nodes in her left breast tissue. Now, her husband, Shoaib, who has been her rock bottom support at a press event recently shared an update related to Dipika's health.

Shoaib Ibrahim gives the latest health update on Dipika Kakar after her mammography

Dipika had taken to her YouTube vlogs to mention that in January 2025, when she had done Celebrity MasterChef, she had experienced a lot of pain in her left shoulder. She did not know the reason, and then it came out that her lymph nodes were enlarged, with another diagnosis of a muscle injury. The doctors wanted to be sure, and so she was told to undergo a mammography three months later, after her lymph node swelling was diagnosed. Now, a video of Shoaib has been doing the rounds at a press event where one of the paps asked him about his life. Shoaib put his hand on his chest and as revealed by Tellyreporter, and shared:

"Badhiya hai ekdum."

Shoaib was seen wearing a Gucci shirt, black jeans, and his hands inside his pockets. He posed in front of the paps and humbly replied to the concern of a paparazzi who asked the actor about his wife, Dipika. The actress mentioned earlier in her vlog video that her stitches have healed well after the surgery.

Dipika Kakar has started taking target therapy

Since May 2025, Dipika has been fighting a stage 2 liver tumour. Through their YouTube channel, both Dipika and Shoaib informed the fans about her health. In one of the vlogs, the actor did mention that Dipika's chances of the tumour recurring are high, and the treatment for the same reportedly extends for two years. Dipika did share that her oral target therapy has been started and shared on the side effects and how the treatment does take a toll on her health. She explained how she felt after taking the target therapy for two days. In her words:

"I am feeling okay, but we will only know in a few days. I am taking all the precautionary measures that the doctor has advised. I have been told to stay hydrated, eat well, and also keep nourishing my skin because this treatment can cause ulcers in the mouth, palms, and feet, and make the skin scaly. Also, I am advised not to go under direct sunlight, to wear gloves, and to put on socks at all times."

Dipika Kakar is unable to pick up her son, Ruhaan

Dipika, on the second day of her treatment, shared feelings of low. She shared that she felt fine till the afternoon, but then saw a drop in her energy levels. She was lying down the entire time, and Shoaib had also revealed that his wife was getting ulcers on her tongue just two days into the treatment. She shared of not having the strength to pick her son, Ruhaan, in her arms and shared:

"I just want to regain so much strength now that I can lift Ruhaan in my arms once again, but I am still not able to do that."
