Nita Ambani shared a warm bond with her daughter-in-law, Shloka Mehta. When Shloka Mehta tied the knot with Akash Ambani in March 2019, the family showered them with many expensive gifts. However, it was Nita Ambani, who gifted her a super expensive yet exquisite necklace. Nita Ambani gave Mouawad L'Incomparable neckpiece worth Rs. 451 crore to her bahu as a wedding present. 

Shloka Mehta's expensive neckpiece gifted by Nita Ambani featured 91 diamonds

The neckpiece holds a lot of sentimental and unique value. The Rs. 451 crore necklace was made with golden L'Incomparable diamond weighing 407.48 carats. This diamond makes the neckpiece costlier. Another highlight of the neckpiece was it featured 91 diamonds in various shapes, and it added 200 additional carats to the piece.  

Shloka Mehta's neckpiece holds a World Record for being the most valuable necklace in the entire world 

Ambanis are known for their larger-than-life lifestyle. They love flaunting their expensive pieces, and Shloka's gifted 'Mouawad L’Incomparable' neckpiece was one of them. It also set a World Record for being the most valuable necklace in the world. It was priced at USD 55 million in 2019. 

Is Shloka's Mouawad L'Incomparable necklace extinct? 

According to several reports, Shloka's unique 'Mouaward L'Incomparable' necklace was displayed at Sotheby's in 2022. They are the most preciously cut yellow-hued diamonds. It also reported that the diamond was recut to maximize its depth and brightness and it's shaping also improved.

It lowered the weight of the necklace to carats to 104.38, and the yellow-hued diamond turned into 303.10-carat. And so, the famous necklace gifted to Shloka Mehta with the unique diamond became extinct from the market and was revamped into a new shape.

Talking about Akash and Shloka's love story, they met each other in school, the latter for his sister, Isha's best friend. However, not many people know that Akash Ambani had postponed his wedding with his fiancee, Shloka Mehta for his sister, Isha Ambani. In a 2019 interview with Vogue, Isha Ambani revealed her brother, Akash Ambani's compassionate side. Isha revealed how Akash was the first to get engaged to Shloka, and his wedding dates were fixed, but he gave it up for his sister. She further added that Akash is the most 'dayalu' human in the world. Recalling her twin brother's words, Isha said:

"'I'll get married afterwards, you take my wedding dates.' He's like one of the most—I don't think there's a word for it in English—'dayalu' humans in this world. He's empathetic, gracious and gentle, just like Shloka."
