Shloka Mehta is the badi bahu of the Indian billionaires, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani. Despite being a doting wife to Akash Ambani and a loving mommy to their kids, Prithvi and Veda, Shloka's fashion sense never takes a back seat. The philanthropist recently sat for a podcast where she talked in detail about her non-profit organisation and, in the process, gave exclusive glimpses of the luxurious Antilia.
Shloka Mehta recently sat for an interview with The Krish Kothari Show with ConnectFor co-founder, Maniti Shah. In it, she discussed the aim, effectiveness, and success of their NGO social welfare initiative, ConnectFor. While the podcast was business-based, it was hosted in Antilia, and the luxurious abode immediately attracted our attention. The podcast was conducted in one of Antilia's living rooms, which features plush sofas in beige tones. In the background, we could see golden stairs and several art pieces decorating the wall.

For the day, Shloka looked fresh as a daisy in a white-hued midi dress with blue floral prints. She left her tresses loose in soft curls and completed her look with soft makeup. Coming back to the interiors of Antilia, the super-expensive house was adorned with floral arrangements in pink and white hues, which perfectly stood out in contrast to the room's beige and gold themes. There were lit chandeliers that even accentuated the abode's appeal by manifolds.
In the same podcast, Shloka Mehta revealed that she once got a call from a woman who recently lost her husband and was grieving. The lady wanted to join a children's NGO as she found joy and peace there but did not know how to contact such NGO. After this call, Shloka realised that volunteers are unaware of NGOs, and even if they want to work for them, they don't know how to reach out. This gave her the motivation to establish ConnectFor. In Shloka's words:
“She wrote to us saying ‘I signed up to ConnectFor at a really low point in my life. My husband had just passed away. He had suffered from cancer for a really long time. I was really clueless about what to do to fill my time and fill my life. And now I get so much joy by being around these children.”
In ConnectFor, volunteers can directly connect with their desired NGOs, which is part of CSR, which is Corporate Social Responsibility. The company now has many projects and permanent closets, but it mostly started as a bridge between volunteers and NGOs.
