On the other hand, as per a report by PEOPLE, Shirley's twin sister, Shelia, revealed that it was the late star's younger daughter who tried to contact her mom throughout the entire day on January 27, 2026, but got no response.

As per Shelia, the younger daughter had to even drive to Shirley's home in Naveda, and still she was waiting for her mom's response, which she didn't get, leading her to throw rocks at the window. When nothing happened, Shirley's daughter had to contact the police, who ran a wellness check, after which it was found that she was in an unresponsive state. As per Shelia, there was no visible sign to determine the cause of her death. Shelia revealed that the entire family is in shock currently.
