TV actress, Shubhangi Atre played the role of 'Angoori Bhabhi'. Earlier, Shilpa Shinde played the role, but after her reported fight with the makers, Shubhangi replaced her. Shubhangi Atre calls her replacement on the show a 'blessing in disguise'

In a recent interview with TOI, Shubhangi shared that she had promised producer, Binaifer Kohli that she would start and end the show with the same energy. She added that after facing so much in life, she is currently in 'fighter mode' and is only focused on her daughter and her work. She was quoted as saying:

"I always promised Mrs Kohli that my journey in the show would start with aan, baan aur shaan, and that is exactly how it would end too. There is no point delving into the reasons for the replacement. I see it as a blessing in disguise because, as an artist, I want to explore new characters. Shubhangi Atre got emotional during the last few days of her shoot for the show, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain

In the same interview, Shubhangi shared that the last few days of shooting were quite emotional for her. It was similar to the feeling of pain when a person leaves their home. She mentioned that replacing a character on the show was never an easy task. She then expressed her gratitude to the audience for accepting her as 'Angoori Bhabhi'. She was quoted as saying:

"It definitely felt like leaving home. I became extremely emotional in the last few days of the shoot. The character had become a part of me. Replacing someone is never easy. When you create a character from scratch, you shape it through your own personality and experiences. But when you take on a role that already exists, you have to retain the nuances without making it seem like a copy and still build your own connection with the audience. I am grateful that viewers accepted me with so much love."

I raised that baby for ten years, and now I am returning it to her. I am passing it back with a full heart. I wish Shilpa all the very best and also the entire team for the 2.0 version of the show. She is a fantastic actor, and I am genuinely fond of her."
