Shilpa Shetty Performs Puja For New Bastian Restaurant In Goa, After Shutting Down Mumbai Outlet

Shilpa Shetty is a famous Bollywood actress, marking a strong footing in the industry. Apart from acting, she is a renowned business entrepreneur with a premium seafood restaurant, Bastian. However, when she decided to close the Bastian outlet in Mumbai, it broke many hearts. But Shilpa's entrepreneurial journey has not come to an end, but it is a beginning as she is all set for the opening of a Goa restaurant. 

Shilpa Shetty performed puja for the inauguration of the Goa outlet

On October 17, 2025, Shilpa took to her Instagram stories and posted a couple of pictures from the inauguration of the Goa outlet. They hosted a puja, and for the day, the actress was dressed up in a white-hued kurta with mustard-hued flowers and a matching mustard-toned dupatta. Her pictures gave a sneak peek inside the outlet, which had a shack-style interior and looked just amazing.

Shilpa Shetty talked about closing her Mumbai outlet after years of making loyal customers

When Shilpa closed her Bastian services in Mumbai, fans showered her with immense love and expressed their heart out on how it was a painful moment to let it go. Shilpa took to her Instagram and revealed that the outlet is not closing forever. She revealed that she has received over a thousand calls. She said:

“No, I am not shutting down Bastian. I promise! But one thing’s for sure, I can feel the love for Bastian. But don’t turn this love toxic. Bastian is going nowhere. So yes, with a heavy heart, we have closed one chapter. But two new stories are waiting to be written.”

In the caption of the same video, Shilpa Shetty mentioned that Bastian is closing its outlet in Bandra, a new South Indian restaurant, Ammakai, will be opening soon in the spot. It holds a special place in her heart as it serves food that is close to her roots. Meanwhile, her premium seafood restaurant is relocating to Juhu and will open as Bastian Beach Club. Shilpa wrote:

“Bandra Bastian was the root to our tree called Bastian Hospitality, like a tree blooms new fruits our favourite Bandra restaurant is giving way to a new one called AMMAKAI, South Indian Mangalorean cuisine taking me back to my roots. Your Favourite Bastian is going to Juhu, with the name of Bastian Beach Club. So BASTIAN is staying, going nowhere!!!!!"
