Shikhar Dhawan is all set for the second innings in his life. After a failed marriage with Ayesha Dhawan, and his yearning to meet his son, the cricketer has decided to move on with life. And it seems like God of love is in his favour as he found his partner in Sophie Shine. After visibly confirming his relationship in media interviews, Shikhar finally made his relationship Insta-official, and revealed the identity of his girlfriend.

For a couple of months, Shikhar has been spotted with a gorgeous girl who seems camera shy. After keeping their relationship hush-hush, it seems like Shikhar is ready to talk about it. On May 1, 2025, Shikhar's girlfriend, Sophie Shine shared a collaborated post with him. In the photo, Shikhar was dressed up in a crisp brown-hued shirt, which he paired with contrasting trousers. He looked dapper as he flaunted his muscles.

On the other hand, Sophie donned a black-hued dress. She looked glamorous in subtle makeup and hair left open. Shikhar and Sophie looked the happiest as they posed together. Along with the photo, Sophie captioned it with a heart emoji and tagged Shikhar.

Sophie Shine hails from Ireland and is reportedly working as a product consultant. Sophie is a Marketing and Management graduate from Limerick Institute and has also studied at Ireland Castleroy College. Currently, she serves as the Second Vice President at Northern Trust Corporation in the UAE.

When we scrolled through her IG feed, we stumbled upon a cutesy video of her with Shikhar. The star girlfriend was dressed up in a baby pink suit and looked super pretty. On the other hand, Shikhar was dressed up in a Pathani kurta with a doshala. The two were seen lip-syncing to the Shri Aniruddhacharya's conversation with a bhakt, who told him that she wanted to stay with him. Shri Aniruddhacharya gave a funny reply by saying, 'Ghar mein kaam karati hogi ma.'

When Shikhar Dhawan talked about his failed marriage with Ayesha

Shikhar Dhawan had a difficult marriage with Ayesha. After their divorce in 2021, Shikhar was unable to meet his only son. In an interview with India Today, Shikhar Dhawan talked about his failed marriage. The cricketer admitted that he overlooked warning signs in his relationship with Ayesha. Shikhar further shared that he has grown and learnt from his mistakes and would make a more informed decision if he ever decided to get marry again. In Shikhar's words:

"I failed because the final decision is the person's own. I don't point fingers at others. I failed because I was not aware of that field. The things I talk about cricket today, I wouldn't have been aware of the same 20 years back. It comes with experience. Right now, my divorce case is going on. Tomorrow, if I want to marry again, I will be much more wiser in that field. I'll know what kind of girl I need, someone whom I can spend my life with."
