Well, in the clip, seemingly an entrepreneur was seen approaching Shehnaaz Gill for her brand. She was seen telling the actress that she wanted her to be the face of her brand. Shehnaaz abruptly asked if she had money. Shehnaaz also quipped, 'You can't afford me'. Well, later she asked that lady to talk to her manager to fix the deal. Shehnaaz also complimented the lady for her beautiful hair and asked her to be the brand ambassador of her own brand. The lady replied that she would shoot the ad with the actress.

While Shehnaaz Gill said 'You can't afford me' in a lighthearted tone, netizens felt it to be arrogant. As soon as the video went viral, they started filling the comment sections with their opinions. Reacting to the video, one user penned, "Not appropriate even when joking." A second user wrote, "Apne aap ko kya samjhati h baat karne ki tameej nahi h isko." A third user straightaway called her 'ghamandi', while some users came to her support and said that she made this comment as a joke only, thus, people should stop calling her rude.

While promoting her film, Thank You For Coming, Shehnaaz Gill gave a befitting reply to her trolls. In an interview with B4U Entertainment, Shehnaaz said that she has a huge fan following along with a whole lot of trollers. She further remarked that people think that she's not being real in front of the camera and that she's 'fake'. The actress said that those who spread negativity about her and troll her never have seen a personality like her. She called herself unique and mentioned that people can't digest the fact that she's unique. Shehnaaz said that she's really cute, and when it's needed, she's also dangerous.
