Shehnaaz Gill On Dealing With Sidharth Shukla's Death, Says 'Unka Account Mere Saath Band Ho Gaya'

In a conversation with Brahma Kumari sister Shivani, Shehnaaz Gill talked about how she dealt with Sidharth Shukla's death and how she knows that she will connect with him again.

Shehnaaz Gill On Dealing With Sidharth Shukla's Death, Says 'Unka Account Mere Saath Band Ho Gaya'

Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla’s journey had begun in September 2019 when they had participated in Bigg Boss 13. Gradually Shehnaaz had fallen in love with Sidharth and he, too, was seen protecting and pampering her. However, the beginning of September 2021 had brought the saddest day in Shehnaaz’s life as her journey with Sidharth had come to an end. On September 2, 2021, Sidharth had breathed his last at the age of 40 after suffering a cardiac arrest.

The nation was worried about Shehnaaz Gill after Sidharth Shukla’s death. On October 28, 2021, Shehnaaz Gill had made her first-ever post after her alleged boyfriend, Sidharth’s death on her Instagram handle. She had announced her heartfelt tribute for Sidharth. Sharing a poster with a happy picture of her and Sidharth from Bigg Boss 13, Shehnaaz had captioned it with a popular statement that she used frequently for him. Well, she was always heard saying ‘Tu mera hai aur mera hi rhega’ to Sidharth Shukla on the show. She had captioned it as:

Keeping a brave face, Shehnaaz Gill was spotted at various events. However, this is the first time that Shehnaaz talked about Sidharth Shukla. In a conversation with late Sidharth Shukla’s guru maa, sister BK Shivani, Shehnaaz shared how she used to tell the actor that she wished to talk to sister Shivani and how he had always assured her that they will connect someday. She also talked about how she learned a lot from Sidharth in the last two years. Shehnaaz also mentioned that she has become strong now and has realised how people should cherish the memories of the ones, who have passed away.

Talking about how Sidharth Shukla’s journey is over with her for now, but they might meet again, Shehnaaz Gill said in the conversation with Brahma Kumari Shivani:

"Humari journey abhi hai, unki journey complete ho chuki hai. Unka kapda change ho chuka hai lekin woh kahin na kahin aa chuke hain..shakal unki change ho gayi hai but woh dobara iss roop mein aa chuke hain. Unka account mere saath abhi ke liye band ho gaya hai... phir may be continue hoga."

During the conversation, Shehnaaz Gill also talked about how she had dealt with Sidharth Shukla’s sudden demise. Hinting at Sidharth’s demise, Shehnaaz revealed that she too had thoughts like “I don’t want to live anymore.” Sharing her experiences, Shehnaaz mentioned that people go through tough times after their loved one's death and give up on their desire to live, wondering what would they do hereafter. She revealed:

“Kayi log sochte hain, nahi ab nahi mujhe rehna. Ab to main marr hi jau to accha hai, logon ki wording hai ye. Matlab meri bhi thi ki humein to ab nahi rehna chahiye, humein to aisa karna chahiye. Ab main kya karungi.”

Shehnaaz Gill further mentioned that though Sidharth Shukla’s journey is over in this life, she has to live and complete her journey. She also added that one has to continue to live because death will only come when it’s time. She also mentioned that hurting oneself and getting into depression after your close one’s death will only lead to regret in your later life.
