Shehbaz Badesha Gets Emotional As Sister, Shehnaaz Gill Skips 'BB19 Family Week', 'Wo Chahiye Thi..'

Reality show, Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, recently saw The Family Week. The episodes from the same left both contestants and the viewers emotional. However, it is Shehbaz Badesha who is grabbing attention on social media, after a clip of him has gone viral, in which he is visibly upset about his father coming to see him, rather than Shehnaaz Gill. 

Shehbaz Badesha expected Shehnaaz Gill to see him in The Family Week

Recently, a clip was shared on X (formerly Twitter), which featured Shehbaz Badesha and his best friend inside the reality show, Amaal Mallik. The two were seen having a candid conversation, when Shehbaz seemed a little disappointed and shared that he was waiting to see his sister, Shehnaaz Gill in the Family Week. Hearing this Amaal said that at least he got to meet his father, but Shehbaz repeated that he wanted to see the Ikk Kudi actress. He was quoted as saying:

"Yaar Shehnaaz kyu, kyu? Mereko wo chahiye thi, matlab I love her bro more than anything. Baapu toh chalo baapu hai, wo alag baat hai, lekin mereko usko (Shehnaaz) dekhna hai. "

Shehbaz Badesha’s father visited him in Bigg Boss 19 Family Week

Shehbaz's father, Santokh Singh Sukh during the Family Week, and his energy lifted the mood of all the other contestants. For the unversed, when he entered the house, he embraced Shehbaz with a warm hug and a forehead kiss. His appearance turned out to be the most entertaining ones, as all the housemates teased him and Shehbaz and said that Shehbaz looks like the older brother of his father. However, his father made headlines after the show, when he shared his thoughts on Shehbaz being dependent on his sister, Shehnaaz. 

Salman Khan schooled Shehbaz Badesha in the recent Weekend Ka Vaar

For the unversed, in the recent Weekend Ka Vaar, which aired on November 22, 2025, Shehbaz Badesha was bashed by the host, Salman Khan. The Sultan actor lashed out at him for looking as a sidekick of musician, Amaal Mallik. Salman Khan continued to school Amaal and Shehbaz for calling the show ‘biased’ and shared that he would have thrown them out if he could. Salman Khan’s exact words were:

"Shehbaz, aapko realise nahi hua hai ab tak, ki Amaal ko leke aap kitne possessive ho chuke hai. Jab se aap is ghar mein aaye hai, aap bas ek chamcha banke reh gaye ho. Aur jo hungama aap dono ne kiya tha ki bigg boss unfair hai, agar main yaha hota toh main mukhya dwar khulwa deta aur option bhi nahi deta."

Shehbaz Badesha is the younger brother of Shehnaaz Gill. For the unversed, when Shehnaaz was in Bigg Boss 13, her brother was her biggest supporter, who used to encourage her by posting warm messages on social media. Now, when Shehbaz was about to enter the Bigg Boss 19 house as a wildcard, his sister had accompanied him till the stage and she has often shown support towards him. In a recent interview, Shehnaaz had shared:

"Season 19 main sirf Shehbaz ke liye follow karti hu. Main agar sachi bolu toh main sirf Shehbaz ka aage kar kar ke dekhti hu. Ya toh main Amaal ko dekhti hu ya Shehbaz ko, kyuki in dono ka dosti mujhe accha lagta hai. Toh wo hi dekhti hu, aur main poora episode kyu dekhu."
