Sheeba Once Quit A Film After Being Yelled At By Aditya Pancholi On Set, Says 'I Cried And Looked..'

Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir is an actress who has primarily worked in the Hindi film industry. She made her debut in the 1990 Tamil film, Athisaya Piravi and later expanded to Hindi cinema with Yeh Aag Kab Bujhegi. She is married to filmmaker, Akashdeep Sabir, with whom she worked in films including Ghaath and Miss 420.

Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir reveals Aditya Pancholi screamed at her

Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir recently sat for an interview with Pinkvilla. During the conversation, she opened up about her fallout with filmmaker-actor, Aditya Pancholi on the sets of the 1995 film, Surakshaa. She revealed how Aditya Pancholi screamed at her during the shoot. Elaborating on the same, the actress shared that she was tired and that they were shooting in the middle of the night.

Seeba added that she had come to the set after two shifts and was sleeping in her car. When she got out, Raju Mavani, the director of the film, explained a scene, and Aditya Pancholi gave him some suggestions regarding the same. However, things took a turn when Sheeba's response triggered him. She was quoted saying:

"I was tired; it was the middle of the night. I came to sets after doing two shifts. I was sleeping in my car, wrapped up in a blanket. I stepped out of the car for the shot, at that time there were no vans. The director was about to explain the shot. Aur mud ke usne kuch bola ki, 'Do like that' or something. Main itni neend mein. Maine bola, 'You do your own work na'. Woh itna trigger ho gaya, uss time woh bohut trigger ho jata tha. Bahut gaali galoch, chillam chilli hogayi us time, beech sadak pe aadhi raat ko."

Sheeba Sabir revealed she left the film midway after the incident

Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir, in the same conversation, revealed that she got scared when the filmmaker-actor, Aditya Pancholi, started screaming. She added that she looked at the producers who were present on the set to back her up, but they didn't understand what they were supposed to do. She revealed that after the fight, she left the shoot and decided to quit the film. However, the film was released despite the actress quitting the film mid-way. She stated:

"I was scared. I cried and looked at the producer, who wasn't even looking at me. He didn't understand what to do when the hero and heroine were fighting in the middle of the set. I sat in my car, slammed the door and left the set. That was the first time I left the set like this. I said, 'I won't work now, I can't. he abused me and you did nothing. I won't come anymore on set.'"
