'Housefull 2' Actress, Shazahn Padamsee And, Ashish Kanakia Make FIRST Appearance As Husband Wife

Bollywood actress, Shazahn Padamsee, got married to her long-time boyfriend, Ashish Kanakia, on June 5, 2025. The actress, best known for her role in Housefull 2 opposite Akshay Kumar, made the headlines due to her recent wedding with her long-time beau, Ashish. The actress has shared official pictures from her wedding ceremony on her Instagram; however, it was on June 7, 2025, when Shazahn and her husband, Ashish, made their first public appearance together as man and wife. Shazahn had hosted a reception party for her friends and close ones from the entertainment industry on June 7, 2025. The couple made a grand entry at their reception venue and greeted the paps for the first time as 'Mr' and 'Mrs'. Shazahn was seen decked in a pink-hued embellished lehenga while Ashish stunned in black. Their marital glow floored everyone on social media. Speaking of Shazahn's outfit, she looked stunning in the pastel-hued pink lehenga that had minute detailing. Her choli has surely made the heads turn as it has pearl tassels at the tail end and also at the sleeves, which enhanced the beauty of her lehenga.

Shazahn's hands were covered with mehendi, and she showcased a big ring on her finger. For her reception makeup, the actress opted for a dewy makeup base and was the perfect minimalistic bride. Shazahn's smile was proof that she was the happiest wife to Ashish, who looked equally stunning in a black sherwani.

Shazahn and Ashish's wedding festivities had rituals such as sangeet and haldi. Their wedding also had an event which was Broadway-inspired inspired as per a report by the Times Now Digital. A source close to the publication shared that Shazahn and Ashish's wedding celebration was inspired by her legendary dad, late Alyque Padamsee, who was a Padma Shri recipient. Both Shazahn and Ashish's family legacies are deeply rooted in the Indian theatre. The source shared:

"The event was far more than just a party. It was a live musical extravaganza, a heartfelt homage to theatre, featuring retro performances, show-stopping acts, and Broadway-style showmanship.”

Shazahn and Ashish had a private wedding bash which went on for two days. They tied the knot forever in front of their family and closest friends at Courtyard by Marriott, Mumbai, whose owner is Ashish's family. It is interesting to also note that Shazahn's sister-in-law, Niyati, was also married in the same wedding venue to Konark Gowariker, son of Ashutosh Gowariker.

For the unversed, Ashish is the CEO of MovieMax Cinemas and is also the Director of Kanakia Group. It was on January 20, 2025, that Shazahn and Ashish had a roka ceremony and sealed the deal. The actress is Sharon Prabhakar, and late, Alyque Padamsee's daughter. Shazahn had earlier revealed to the publication that she and Ashish's childhood buddy had turned cupid for them, and both then felt instantly attracted to one another. Shazahn had once shared:

"We laugh a lot together as he has a really fun playful side. He is an extremely warm and caring person. Although we come from different backgrounds, our core values are the same."
