Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan faced a spine-chilling night after an intruder entered their home and left the former severely hurt by stabbing him with a knife. The entire industry and nation came together to pray for the better health of Saif amid the nerve-chilling episode. Now, Shatrughan Sinha also penned a post, and he received major backlash for posting an AI-generated photo of Kareena and Saif from the hospital.
Veteran actor-turned-politician, Shatrughan Sinha took to the official X account and condemned that attack on Saif Ali Khan. He even expressed gratitude and prayed for his healing journey. However, it was the AI-generated photo which he posted that left everyone wondering about the need for it.
In the fake photo, Saif was lying on the hospital bed, and Kareena was sitting next to him. Along with the photo, Shatrughan Sinha wrote:
"Very sad & unfortunate the tragic attack on our near, dear & loved #SaifAliKhan which injured him severely. Thank God he is healing well to recovery. Profound regards to my all time favorite 'show man' filmmaker #RajKapoor's granddaughter #KareenaKapoorKhan and the family."
Soon, netizens flooded the comments section and called out Shatrughan Sinha for posting an AI-generated photo of Saif and Kareena. One user wrote, "Sir, what's the need to use an AI-generated image of Saif and Kareena?" Another user penned, "This AI generated image? If yes. You should avoid sharing such images" However, after facing trolls, Shatrughan Sinha deleted the tweet, and in a new post, he didn't include the photo.
For the unversed, it was on January 16, 2025, when an intruder barged into Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's home in Mumbai. He was inside Jeh's room when his nanny found him and asked him what he wanted. To this, the intruder straight away demanded Rs. 1 crore. Meanwhile, the nanny yelled out for help, and Jeh, who was in her arms, started crying and ran out of the room.

Reportedly, after hearing the noises, Saif and Kareena entered the room to find the intruder. To protect his family, who was carrying a knife, Saif fought with him and suffered multiple injuries. He was stabbed by a sharp object six times, and two of them were serious.
In such a serious situation, anyone can lose their mind, but the Khan family kept calm and fought the difficult times. Saif Ali Khan asked one of his staff members to call for an auto as there were no drivers in the home. His son, along with another staff member, accompanied Saif to the hospital. Talking about the police investigation, they have caught the attacker, and reportedly he is a Bangladeshi, and used to work in a pub before this incident. He was carrying fake identities.
