Supriya, in the caption, mentioned, "With immense joy, we are happy to share that our daughter Revati is getting engaged to Sarang, son of Vandana and Arun Lakhanee." The announcement of Revati's engagement has come days after her uncle, Ajit Pawar, passed away in the Baramati air crash. According to a report by the Economic Times, Revati Sule's fiance, Sarang Lakhanee, who is going to be the would-be son-in-law of Supriya Sule, hails from a Nagpur-based business family. His dad is Arun Lakhanee, who leads the ace Vishvaraj Group. Sarang, apart from having a keen interest in business, also has a good sports record. He reportedly represented India in various international badminton tournaments held in different countries for many years. Sarang has expertise in business leadership and sports experience, which makes him stand out.

Sarang reportedly works as an Executive Director at the company and is in charge of operations, projects, and various strategies. Sarang has completed his education in Commerce from Nagaput University and also reportedly studied at IIM Bangalore. Sarang has also done an MBA from Columbia Business School.
