Shalini Passi is a name that no longer needs an introduction. The diva raised the TRP of the show Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives and took the spotlight from the rest of the cast. Be it confidently jumping into an ocean in her amazing gown or her unapologetic and witty statements, everyone loved Shalini’s presence in the show. The diva is a huge devotee of God, and now Shalini has revealed why she has shaved off her hair four times.
Shalini Passi recently had a conversation with NDTV, during which she was asked about hair styling. To this, Shalini revealed that Sikhs don't cut short their hair but try different things to make it look good. They use clips, flowers, tiaras and other things to amp up their hair game. In Shalini's words:
"Everything comes out of necessity. In North India, all of us are Sikhs. We don't cut her hair. So when we don't cut our hair, how do you make it look different every day? By hairbands, clips, flowers, jhumka, tiara - whatever you can call them."
However, Shalini shocked everyone when she revealed that she has shaved her hair four times. She shared that the last time she shaved her hair was in 2018, and she donated it at Tirupathi. So, she doesn't style her hair, and ultimately, she is going to donate it. Also, Shalini and her husband, Sanjay in 2021 donated Rs. 10 crore to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. In Shalini's words:
"Even for me, when I shaved my hair at Tirupati, I shaved it four times. So for me also, I don't want to style my hair much. Because ultimately, I will donate it."
Shalini Passi has been shelling out major fashion goals out there. Well, it can be easily stated that it's her world, and we are living in it. The philanthropist is also passionate about art. As per the NOD magazine, back in 2013, she decided to shave her head when her son, Robin Passi left for university. Shalini not only decided to shave her head but also insisted on wearing black and white, and it was her turning point to 'becoming an aesthete'. In the same interview, Shalini also called herself a great mom, homemaker, and, obviously, the star of her own life. In Shalini's words:
"I’m a great collector. I’m a great mother. I’m a great housewife. I’ve built my family and home. I’m a good friend, and I’m even good to people I don’t know. I have, after all, always been the star of my own life!”
Shalini Passi, who married industrialist Sanjay Passi around 2001, shared her perspective on marriage with NOD Magazine. She revealed that her family had started looking for a suitable match for her when she was just 20. At this young age, Shalini was clear about her requirements for a life partner, which included him not engaging in habits like smoking, drinking, or gambling. She added:
"I wanted someone who wouldn’t drink, smoke, or gamble."
