And they were excited when recent reports suggested that Shalini would be joining Bigg Boss 18. Now, she has reacted to the same.
Reports recently surfaced about art patron-turned-reality star, Shalini Passi venturing on a new journey with Bigg Boss 18. Well, as per the Indian Express SCREEN, when they reached out to Shalini for a comment, she neither confirmed nor denied the rumours. Instead, she merely reacted with a laughing emoji.
On the other hand, a source close to Shalini revealed that the reports were not true, stating that Shalini did not need a show like Bigg Boss 18 to highlight her 'amazing life.' They further pointed out that joining a controversial show like Bigg Boss following a high-profile launch on a Netflix show wasn't Shalini's style. The sourced can be quoted as saying:
"Shalini leads quite an amazing life. She doesn't need this show (Bigg Boss) to highlight it."
The Times Of India was the first to report that Shalini Passi would be gracing the small screen through the popular reality TV show, Bigg Boss 18. They stated that while it was unclear whether the art connoisseur would join the show in the form of a contestant or guest, her entry was highly anticipated. A source close to the show had said:
"Shalini has a magnetic presence and commands attention wherever she goes. Her entry is sure to bring a mix of glamour, intrigue, and unpredictability to the house, shaking up the existing dynamics and intensifying the ongoing drama."
Later, reports suggested that Shalini Passi would join the current season of Bigg Boss as a guest and even reside in the house for a couple of days. Her stint was hinted at being similar to Orry's appearance in the previous season. However, as per the source close to Shalini, all of these reports are inaccurate.

For her part, Shalini Passi doesn't seem interested in backing away from the limelight any time soon. In an interview with Aaj Tak, the stunner had hinted at wanting to get her own shows going, provided viewers were interested in the same. In Shalini's words:
"I've been trying to create a show about women's voices, and another one representing Indian culture. However, I have often received feedback that there's not enough audience to watch these shows. I am ready to show India its culture, the power of women, but the audiences have to be ready. It's just not about my time, it's about production and the cost as well."
