And to end it on a perfect note, his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor had a special ‘blurry’ treat for her hubby, Shahid Kapoor. Expressing how amazing was Shahid’s birthday bash and the fun they had at the party with a single picture, Mira captioned it with a heart emoji. Mira posted a blurry picture with Shahid from the birthday bash in Chandigarh and it spoke millions of feelings about the fun they had had at the party. While some netizens had trolled Mira for sharing a blurred picture and targeted her for being drunk, Shahid gave the perfect explanation to the photo and commented, “This blurred moment is quite the juxtaposition to the clarity I have in my heart about being so incomplete without you.”
To wish her hubby, Shahid Kapoor on his 39th birthday, Mira Rajput Kapoor had earlier posted a selfie with him from the bash. Mira wrote, "Happy birthday to the love of my life" atop the birthday selfie. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, when Shahid Kapoor was asked about his fondest birthday memories from childhood, he had reminisced, “My childhood memories of my birthday include some bad behavior on my part. I was quite into gifts. I would grab gifts from the guests and run away with them. My mum would get very embarrassed. She would call me back and ask me to thank them and behave well. But I was very greedy for gifts. That’s something I remember and I hope I can teach my kids to not be like that.”
And revealing if there’s any professional or personal goal that he wants to fulfil as he steps into a new year, Shahid Kapoor had stated, “Being grounded is very important. Success and failure come and go but family is a priority for me. To sustain a career that’s long, you need to stick to the basics and you need to stay connected with yourself as a human being. I feel very fortunate that I’ve two kids and my wife by my side. I’m happy that we’re always there for each other.”
