Shahid Afridi's daughter, Ansha Afridi, has welcomed her first child with her husband, Shaheen Shah Afridi. The couple are now proud parents of a baby boy named Aliyaar Afridi. The Afridi family shared the joyful news on Saturday through the official Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) WhatsApp group. In their message, they expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming love andblessings from their fans. The post read as:

"You are receiving loving messages from all your friends on becoming the youngest grandfather in the world of cricket. My family and I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for joining us in our happiness."
Shahid Afridi also shared a glimpse of the beautiful baby boy, who swooned our hearts in a puddle. In the photo, the baby boy looked adorable, dressed in a white-hued onesie and matching cap with tiny heart and star prints on it.
Shaheed Afridi is currently playing a Test match against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi. In the first match itself, the former jumped in happiness as he took the wicket of Hasan Mahmud. Shaheen dedicated his first wicket of the series to his newborn son and, ran around the field to celebrate his baby's arrival with a unique and creative 'carrying a baby' gesture.

Their reception, held in Islamabad, was a glamorous affair that saw the attendance of a star-studded guest list, including numerous cricketing stars. The events were graced by the presence of Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Imam-ul-Haq, and Haris Rauf, who extended their heartfelt wishes to the newlyweds, adding to the grandeur of the occasion. The couple’s union was marked by their nikkah in February 2023 at a local mosque in Karachi, surrounded by close relatives and loved ones.
