The badshaah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated film, Pathaan. Apart from his many ventures, Shah Rukh Khan also owns an IPL team named, Kolkata Knight Riders along with actress, Juhi Chawla. In a recent interview, the handsome actor revealed how he dealt when KKR lost matches back-to-back.
In an interaction with former Indian cricketer, Robin Uthappa, Shah Rukh revealed how he used to feel bad and cry with his kids when his team Kolkata Knight Riders lost matches. Talking about the same, Shah Rukh revealed:
“When we started in 2014, it was in Abu Dhabi and we were losing all the matches. I remember I used to sit there with my kids. We used to cry like kids alone in the hotel room, ‘arre, ye firse haar gaye, bada dukh ho raha tha.”

In the same interaction, Shah Rukh revealed that when the matches were shifted to India, the team won all the matches and also the finale. Revealing how he gets inspired by KKR, the Dilwale actor shared:
“When the tournament shifted to India, all the young players started to play so well. They all started playing better one after the other. This is how life is. I get really inspired by our KKR matches and sometimes depressed also, but mostly inspired.”
Concluding the interview, Shah Rukh Khan shared that when one’s team loses, there is always sadness, no matter how philosophical one gets. In his words:
“Kuch bhi keh lo, dukh toh hota hai. Gyaan jitna bhi de lo ki zindagi mein aisa hota hai vaisa hota hai, lekin jab haarte hain, tab acha lagta nahi hai.”

Shah Rukh Khan took a sabbatical from acting in 2018 and revealed the reason behind the same at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia. The actor, who took a break after his last film, Zero revealed that he wanted to spend quality time with his kids, which he otherwise never gets. Calling it the happiest phase of his life, Shah Rukh revealed that he and his younger son, AbRam learned Italian cooking.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is making his comeback to the silver screen with the film, Pathaan after a break of 4 years. In the film, which also stars, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, Shah Rukh is portraying the role of a spy, and the much-awaited film is all set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2023.
