The excitement for the match has reached an all-time high, and adding to the frenzy, Bollywood’s Badshah and global superstar, Shah Rukh Khan has landed in Kolkata ahead of the much-awaited season opener between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The King of Bollywood and proud co-owner of KKR made a stylish entry at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, sending fans into a frenzy.

Shah Rukh Khan lands in Kolkata for IPL 2025

The highly-awaited IPL 2025 is all set to commence on March 22, 2025. Ahead of its opening match, on March 21, 2025, Shah Rukh Khan reached the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. The superstar donned a crisp white T-shirt, classic blue denim pants, a sleeveless jacket and his signature dark sunglasses. Before entering his car, SRK took some time to greet his sea of fans who had swarmed around the airport gates. in a clip shared by Viral Bhayani, the Jawan star made hearts melt with his warm greetings, waves and flying kisses for his loyal fans.

About the KKR Vs RCB IPL 2025 Opener

The opening ceremony of IPL 2025 is arranged to be a star-studded affair at Kolkata’s iconic stadium, Eden Gardens. Bollywood stars, including Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Shreya Ghoshal, Disha Patani, Karan Aujla, and Arijit Singh are lined up to deliver electrifying performances. Shah Rukh Khan is also expected to take centre stage, where he will introduce the teams and BCCI officials, and possibly deliver an inspiring monologue.
