The Filmfare Awards have always been more than just a night of trophies, they are a grand celebration of Indian cinema's finest talent and passion. For almost seven decades, the iconic black lady trophy has been the symbol of excellence. This year, the 70th Filmfare Awards 2025 with Gujarat Tourism added a new chapter to that legacy and Bollywood's 'King Khan's' appearance at the red carpet has been winning hearts online.

The 70th edition of the prestigious Filmfare Awards took place at EKA Arena in Ahmedabad on October 11, 2025, and a video from the same is going viral on social media. In the viral video clip, 'King Khan', Shah Rukh Khan made a picture-perfect entrance, which melted a lot of hearts on social media. For the event, he looked effortlessly elegant in a sharp black suit, which he paired with his evergreen and confident smile. But what captured the attention of viewers was SRK's warm waves and signature flying kisses.

Within minutes, a lot of fans showered love for Shah Rukh Khan on social media platforms. While most users commented heart emojis, a few of them expressed their love for the Swades actor. One fan wrote, "King." Another user commented, "Only SRK fan." A third user penned, "SRK looks so charming." Another fan wrote, "That flying kiss was the best." Another fan commented, "Full King vibes."

Nominations at the 70th Filmfare Awards

Some of the nominations at this year's Filmfare Awards include Laapata Ladies, Article 370, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Stree 2. For Best Actor, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan and Rajkummar Rao are leading the race. For Best Actress, nominated contenders are Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Yami Gautam. Apart from this, Laapataa Ladies fame, Nitanshi Goel won an award in the Best Debut (feamle) category. 

More about Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan was born on November 2, 1965, in Delhi in a middle-class family. In 1991, he married Gauri Khan and the couple has three children- daughter, Suhana Khan, and sons, Aryan and AbRam Khan. SRK started his journey with the TV shows, Circus and Fauji. In 1992, he made his Bollywood debut with Deewana and films like Baazigar and Darr made him a household name. 

Later, with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, alongside Kajol, SRK cemented himself as a romantic hero. Over the years, he has given hit films Swades, Chalte Chalte, Duplicate, Kuch Kuch Hota hai, Devdas and more. His recent films include Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. Most recently, he made a cameo in Aryan Khan's directorial debut series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood and next he will be seen in the film, King, alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan.

Apart from acting, he also co-founded Red Chillies Entertainment and is a major stakeholder in IPL team, KKR. In his long and memorable career, Shah Rukh Khan has bagged several awards, from multiple Filmfare Awards to the most recent National Film Award for his film, Jawan.
