Shah Rukh Khan Lands In New York Ahead Of Met Gala 2025, Meets Fans Gathered Near Airport

Shah Rukh Khan is the undisputed 'King of Bollywood' who has charmed the audience with his iconic films from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge to Pathaan. His immense success in India reached across borders where his films have done impressive business. As a result, the superstar has a massive fan following not just in India but abroad as well. For those unaware, Shah Rukh has been a guest at International talk shows and even walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. Soon, a new addition will be made to this list of international achievements as SRK is set to make his debut at Met Gala 2025. A while ago, the actor was seen landing at the airport and the video from his arrival has surfaced on the internet.

Shah Rukh Khan arrives in New York for his debut at Met Gala 2025

Met Gala, which serves as the fundraiser for The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, has always attracted the attention of Indians. But it is going to become more special for the country as Shah Rukh will make his debut at the prestigious Met Gala 2025 on May 5, 2025. He will reportedly don a Sabyasachi outfit at the event. A while ago, one of SRK's fan accounts on Instagram by the name of 'Team Shah Rukh Khan Srinagar' shared a new video where he was seen landing at the J.F. Kennedy International Airport. 

In the video, Shah Rukh Khan looked dapper in a casual look, wearing a white T-shirt, baggy jeans, and a grey oversized jacket. He carried the bags while his manager, Pooja Dadlani, and a few team members were also seen at the airport. The actor was led out by a US customs official at the airport, where he had a brief interaction with some of his fans near the airport and waved at others before leaving quickly in his car. Sharing the video, a fan penned:

"SRK… dream come true."

Mom-to-be Kiara Advani has reached New York for her first appearance at Met Gala 2025

Mom-to-be, Kiara Advani, who earlier made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival is now set to grace the red carpet of Met Gala. The diva will reportedly wear custom couture by ace fashion designer, Gaurav Gupta and shared her first picture from New York on her Instagram handle. In the picture, she gave fans a peek at her table filled with candies and flowers with a glimpse of New York City in the background. 

Indian celebrities at the Met Gala event 

Well, it's not the first time that an Indian or Bollywood celebrity will walk down the red carpet at the Met Gala event. Previously, leading ladies like Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, and Alia Bhatt have served us some major fashion goals at the Met Gala. Last year, in 2024, Alia left everyone impressed with her mint green Sabyasachi saree with real gemstones. In 2025, along with SRK and Kiara, Priyanka Chopra will also grace the Met Gala for the 5th time, and Diljit Dosanjh is also rumoured to be a part of the event. The theme for 2025 is 'Superfine: tailoring black style', and it will be interesting to see how Indian celebrities make their mark on the global stage with their impeccable looks.
