Shah Rukh Khan delivered a streak of box-office hits with Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki dominating the film scene. While each film had its own distinctive charm and story. His striking bald look in Jawan became the highlight of his comeback. However, in a recent interview, the makeup artist for the film, Preetisheel Singh D'Souza, revealed that the iconic look was originally not even a part of the film.

Preetisheel Singh D'Souza sat for a candid conversation with The Times of India, where she revealed that the bald look from Jawan was created by accident during an experimental look test. The renowned makeup and prosthetic artist revealed that they had been exploring different wig options to go with Shah Rukh Khan's salt-and-pepper beard look. However, in a twisted turn of events, the crew, out of curiosity, decided to see how Shah Rukh Khan would look in the bald cap, which gave birth to the look. She was quoted saying:

"We were testing various wigs along with his salt-and-pepper beard. At one point, we applied a bald cap just to see how it would pair with his facial hair. When we removed the wig, the entire team paused—he looked like an absolute rock star. It was electrifying."

In the same conversation, Preetisheel further shared how the bald look perfectly complemented Shah Rukh Khan's face shape. She added that the look complemented the intensity of his character, 'Vikram Rathore', and the decision was made instantly. And that is how what started as an experimental test became one of the most defining elements of the film, earning widespread praise from both fans and critics.

In the same conversation, Preetisheel Singh D'Souza further revealed how Shah Rukh Khan's transformation for his role in the film, Jawan did not just stop at the bald look. She shared that King Khan showcased his unwavering dedication towards perfecting the look by getting into a leaner, more chiselled physique. Preetisheel, who has worked with Khan previously, including a cola advertisement, was equally impressed by his fitness. She commended the actor for being an inspiration even at this age and stated:

On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan will soon be seen in King, where he will, for the first time, share the screen with his daughter, Suhana Khan. Directed by Pathaan's Siddharth Anand, the film promises high-octane action and an intriguing plot. Another highlight of the film is Abhishek Bachchan stepping into the show as an antagonist.
