Shah Rukh Khan Reportedly Gets Injured During The Shoot Of His Film, 'King', Treatment In U.S.

Bollywood superstar and 'King Khan', Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited film, King has come to a pause. The Bollywood icon was shooting for the film, when he reportedly injured himself during the shoot of an action sequence. The news went viral quickly, creating a wave of concern among fans and his loved ones, but sources close to him have said that it is not a very major injury. 

What happened to Shah Rukh Khan on the set of King?

59-year-old Bollywood star, Shah Rukh Khan, was filming an intense and physically challenging action scene at a Mumbai studio for his upcoming film, King, when this incident happened to him. While the exact details of his injury are not available, some sources close to him and the production revealed that it was a muscular injury, which was likely caused by some difficult action movement. A close source revealed:

"He was shooting in Mumbai when he was injured. The exact details of the injury are being held under wraps at the moment. It is more of a muscular injury and nothing serious. That being said, it is not being taken lightly. Shah Rukh has travelled to the US for medical attention. He has been suggested to take a one-month rest."

Shah Rukh Khan’s recovery and break from shoot

Doctors have advised 'King Khan' to take a rest of one full month before returning on set to shoot. This has led to the cancellation of the shoot for a month. The shooting is expected to begin sometime after September 2025. Fans have been waiting for an update on Shah Rukh Khan's health as they are concerned for their icon. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan's manager, Pooja Dadlani, put an Instagram Story from New York, which suggests SRK is there for his treatment. The close source continued by saying: 

"Till then, Shah Rukh has been advised to rest and focus on the recovery. In fact, he has also been asked to get back to the set with caution."
