Recently, the singer opened up about her husband, Benny Blanco's support in mental health advocacy.
Recently, the Calm Down singer attended the 3rd Annual Rare Impact Fund event in Los Angeles. While having a conversation at the event, Selena Gomez opened up about her husband, Benny Blanco's support towards her in promoting mental health awareness. She was quoted as saying:
"I think it’s important to equally have anyone around you, especially a partner that understands where your values are, and what’s important to you, and if they don’t align morally, sometimes, it can be a little cloudy. I know what matters to him and he knows what matters to me and we’re just there for each other."

During the same conversation, Selena Gomez was then asked if music producer, Benny Blanco was ready to bid on the event’s highlight item, to which the singer replied with a smile and shared that Benny is also a part of it. In her words:
"Yes, he’s in competition with himself, he is always like 'I want to be a part of' and I’m like 'okay, you can'."

In several interviews, Selena Gomez has opened up about facing multiple issues including body-shaming comments, dexterity issues and more. A part of it was shown in the documentary, Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me. Talking about the same, she had once shared that she can't watch it anymore. She was quoted as saying:
"I deal with a lot of (dexterity issues) myself, and it can get frustrating. Even just popping open a can can hurt. I’m very glad it came out, but that’s not necessarily who I am now. To be honest, I can’t watch it. But it’s only because I’m not there anymore. It was like they couldn’t wait to find a thing to bring me down."

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco tied the knot on September 27, 2025, in a private yet star-studded ceremony held in Santa Barbara, California. The couple, who began dating in 2023 and announced their engagement in December 2024, chose to keep the wedding intimate, but it was attended by Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Paris Hilton and more. For the big day, Selena wore a custom halter-neck satin gown with floral embroidery by Ralph Lauren, whereas Benny chose a classic black Ralph Lauren tuxedo and bow tie. Recently, on October 27, 2025, the couple celebrated their one-month anniversary.
