Seema Sajdeh Recalls DIVORCE Proceedings At Family Court With Sohail Khan: 'You Feel So Small..'

Seema Sajdeh's life has not been easy, especially after she parted ways with Sohail Khan, but she has navigated her way through societal judgments beautifully. Recently, Seema first time talked about the trauma of the legal proceeding left on her and how it still haunts her. Not only has Imran Khan's ex-wife, Avantika Malik, also opened up for the first time about her much-talked-about divorce. 

Seema Sajdeh talked about the legal proceeding and how small it made her feel

Recently, Seema Sajdeh and Avantika Malik appeared on Janice Sequeira's podcast, where they discussed their respective divorces and how they navigated their paths. Seema talked about her experience at Family Court. She revealed that they yell your name as if you are at a railway station, and people stare at you, making you feel small, and significant. She said:

"The way they call your name like you’re at a railway station. They’re yelling your name and people are looking. You feel so small, insignificant, unimportant, dispensable! I remember just felt like, ‘Is this what this is all about? Is this what it comes down to.'"

For those who don't know, Seema Sajdeh and Sohail Khan had tied the knot in 1998. They have been together for 20 years and also have two sons, Nirvaan and Yohaan. Talking about the moment, the judge granted their divorce, Seema shared how something died inside of her.

Avantika Malik talked about her divorce proceedings

In the same conversation, Imran Khan's ex-wife, Avantika Malik, also discussed her experience in the family court. She recalled that she would remember the moment forever in her life, even when she decided to get married again. She said:

"The last time I went, I remember telling my lawyer, ‘If I ever think oh, it’s a good idea to get married again, I need to remember this moment in this family court.'"

Seema Sajdeh was about to get married to businessman, Vikram Ahuja when she called off her wedding and broke her engagement to marry actor, Sohail Khan. After juggling the image of being a Khan wife, Seema made her presence felt in the first season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. However, by the second season Seema had divorced Sohail, and shared how she was trying to make her own name.

It was in the third season of the show, Seema revealed that she is again dating, Vikram with whom she had broken her engagement with. Coming back to her divorce, Seema shared in detail how they decided to part ways. She said:

"The deal-breaker actually is to see how the two of you are going through life. Life is short, live it and be happy. Laughter is the best medicine, and the day you stop laughing together, it’s over. You should be able to reach a point where you like that person again. You shouldn’t hate that person… You tend to get so complacent in a marriage. At that time if you’d asked me, I would’ve blamed everything on him."
