Seema Sajdeh Admits She Was Scared To Date After Divorce With Sohail Khan, 'I Might Get Killed...'

Seema Sajdeh was earlier married to Salman Khan's brother, Sohail Khan. The ex-couple decided to seek divorce after 24 years of togetherness in 2022, which left everyone stunned. Seema and her relationship made headlines after her stint in Netflix's Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives along with Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, and Neelam Kothari. In the show's last season, Seema admitted that she was in a relationship with Vikram Ahuja, the man she dated before eloping With Sohail. However, in a recent interview, Seema shared how she was initially scared that she might date the wrong person after her divorce from Sohail Khan, which made her take some bizarre steps.

Seema Sajeh reveals she was sacred to date after her divorce 

Seema Sajeh recently sat down for a conversation with Janice Sequeira and shared how it was difficult for her to date after her divorce. Since she was married for 22 years, going again on dates filled her with anxiety. The diva shared that the dating process was the worst part for her, and despite everyone's encouragement, she was scared that she might meet the wrong person in the process. She said:

"Honestly, for me, it was the worst part. Everyone just told me, ''Arey, just go have a good time, meet him, talk to him''. I watched too much of Law and Order SVU. And because I watched it too much, I thought I might get killed. I am like, ''What if he turns out to be a serial killer?"

Seema admitted that she is old school when it comes to dating and doesn't understand the new-age dating terms. The fashion designer and stylist shared another interesting anecdote from that time. She revealed that she once joined a dating app after consuming too much alcohol and registered that she wanted to date a female by mistake. In her words:

"I registered on that app as per their suggestion, and when I woke up in the morning, I realised I had selected female as the gender for my partner. I thought they were asking me for my gender."

In the same interview, Seema Sajeh shared that it wasn't easy for her to divorce Sohail after 22 years of marital bliss. However, it felt necessary after a point. She shared that when a couple is constantly snapping at each other in a marriage, they are not giving their all to their kids, which needs to be done. At the same time, it creates a wrong environment for everyone. The fashion designer further said the effect can be serious if the kids continuously witness irritable parents. Explaining her feelings, she said:

"When you're in a marriage where you're constantly bickering at each other, you're also not giving your 100% to your kids. They're losing out. Seeing this irritable parent in the house, the atmosphere is tense; you can cut it with a knife because it's so thick.""

In an interview with India Today, Seema Sajdeh discussed about her bond with Sohail Khan's family. She shared that it's a bond that can't be broken. Although she and Sohail have moved on in their lives, they have two sons, Nirvaan and Yohaan. So, they all will continue to be a family. Seema highlighted that she is close to Sohail's family after living with him for many years, and their bond is unbreakable. At the same time, she mentioned that her life with them has shaped her into the woman she is today.
