In an interview with the Entrepreneur, Seema Bansal revealed that the flowers she received from Sunny were not what he ordered. The couple took inspiration from Parisian floral design and started their company in 2015 by the name Venus et Fleur. Seema and Sunny joined hands with a farm in Ecuador that began transporting flowers by air. Soon, they started getting the attention of celebrities, which helped them market their brand to a broader range of customers.
Seema Bansal Chadha and Sunny Chadha were aware of social media's power and decided to try their luck as they sent some of their best products to the Kardashians. Although they knew they'd picked a name way too big but to everyone's surprise, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian posted Venus et Fleur's arrangements on their respective Instagram handles. According to a report in Forbes, the starting price of a single rose on Seema Bansal and Sunny Chadha's floral brand, Venus et Fleur, is 39 USD, and if converted in INR it is around Rs. 3,200. Apart from the traditional red, white and champagne colours of the roses, Venus et Fleur offers roses in four rare colours, silver, green, blue and lavender. Some people might find the prices a bit too high, but there are no ifs and buts about the quality of flowers, which is quite rare in today's time.
For the unversed, it was on November 3, 2020, when Seema Bansal and Sunny Chadha got married as per the Indian culture.
