Seema Singh, a social activist, recently made it to the headlines. Seema, wife of, Mrityunjay Singh, the director at Alkem and Managing Director of Indchemie Health Specialities, is also a visionary entrepreneur. Seema belongs to the family behind the famous pharmaceutical company, Alkem Laboratories Limited. Seema's father-in-law chairs the Alkem Pharma. Seema and Mrityunjay are parents to two kids, Meghna and Shrey. Meghna is a doctor, and she is all set to get married to the man of her dreams soon. Seema Singh's philanthropic journey: Founded an NGO, got awards from Draupadi Murmu and others

Seema Singh belongs to Patna, Bihar. She completed her higher studies from Patna University, before shifting to Mumbai. After she shifted her base to Mumbai, she found her true calling to be an entrepreneur. It was in 2000 when Seema founded the NGO, MeghaShrey. The name of the NGO is after Seema's two kids, Meghna and Shrey.

It was after Seema funded her driver's son's education that her philanthropic work began, and it inspired her to found the NGO MeghnaShrey. Through this NGO, Seema tries to bring a change in society, as the main goal here is to uplift the unprivileged. For her philanthropic work, Seema is a recognised personality, and she was also awarded by the President of India, Shri Draupadi Murmu, Former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, and various ministries and governors.

Alkem Laboratories Limited is an Indian pharmaceutical MNC, which has more than 800 brands and its branches are all around 40 countries as of now. If the reports are to be believed, the Alkem Lab, which was jointly founded by Samprada Singh and Basudeo Narayan Singh, Seema holds a 2.16 per cent stake in the pharma company.

It was back in 2024 when Seema Singh made it to the headlines after she purchased a super expensive home in posh Worli. Last year, it was reported that the apartment was situated on the 30th floor of Lodha Sea Face Tower in Worli. Reportedly, the apartment is spread over 14,000 square feet and offers a view of the Arabian Sea. It was also reported that Seema Singh paid a whopping amount of Rs. 185 crore to buy the apartment.

Seema Singh is close to Bollywood celebrities 

Seema Singh's daughter, Meghna is a dermatologist by profession, who is all set to get married to the man of her dreams. It was in January 2025, when Meghna got engaged, and her family members hosted a star-studded event. Shilpa Shetty, Aditya Roy Kapur, and others were a part of the event. It was on April 17, 2025, when Seema's daughter's sangeet ceremony was held, and it was a blast. Shahid Kapoor was one of the performers, and several A-listers like Shilpa Shetty, Sushmita Sen, Karan Johar, and others also attended the event.
