Ranveer Allahbadia found himself in the midst of controversy as he appeared on Samay Raina's show, India's Got Latent. Ranveer's remarks have left everyone furious, and a whole lot of FIRs have been lodged against him. Following this row, SC has asked him to stop airing podcasts on his show, The Ranveer Show. Well, it was on March 3, 2025, when SC allowed Ranveer to resume uploading videos on his podcast.
It was on March 3, 2025, when Ranveer Allahbadia and Ashish Chanchlani arrived at Maharashtra Cyber to record their statements. As per reports, Allahbadia stated that he made a mistake by making some comments on IGL, which brought him a whole lot of flak. Well, as per reports, SC on the same day has allowed Ranveer to resume uploading podcasts, on his YouTube channel. But SC reportedly had some conditions that The Ranveer Show will maintain morality and decency, and will be suitable for every age.
After the controversy of his show, India's Got Latent, Samay Raina had a show in Canada, wherein he stated that maybe this time is not favourable for him but he's 'Samay'. Well, on March 3, 2025, Samay was indirectly rebuked by the SC. As per reports, without taking Samay's name, Justice Surya Kant criticised the young content creators. He called them 'over-smart', who are unaware of the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction. Justice Surya said that one of them went on to Canada and started talking about the controversy but they don't know what can be done. The bench further acknowledged that they don't want to act on this as they understand that these people are young.
While being on Samay Raina's show, Ranveer Allahbadia, who was on the judging panel, questioned a contestant about parents' intimacy. He asked if one should continue witnessing the same or chip in to put an end to it. Such a crass comment didn't go down well with people, and FIRs were lodged against him. Not only Ranveer, but Apoorva, Samay, and others were dragged into the legal matters.
Apoorva also made a comment on women's body parts, which also didn't go well with people, and she was also slammed and FIRs were lodged against her as well. Reportedly, Apoorva said in her first statement that those who were in the judges' seats, were asked to speak openly, and they weren't paid for the same. Ranveer, on the other hand, dropped a video, wherein he apologised for the remarks that brought him flak. He said that comedy was not his forte, and what he said was not at all funny but rather wrong.
