Every woman is blessed with some amazing powers. She can be a daughter, wife, sister, mother and at the same time can manage her professional life as well. Television actress, Saumya Tandon is the perfect example of the same as she is a doting wife, a hands-on mother and a successful actress, who has some amazing works to her credit. The gorgeous actress, who had hosted many events and shows, is quite popular as the ‘gori mem’ in the serial, Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain. Saumya Tandon, who had played the role of Kareena Kapoor’s sister in the movie, Jab We Met, had tied the knot with her boyfriend, Saurabh Devendra in December 2016. And on January 14, 2019, the couple was blessed with a baby boy, whom they have lovingly named Miraan Tandon Singh. Ever since the birth of her baby boy, the doting mommy has been riding high on motherhood and balancing her professional front with equal ease. Saumya, who had become a household name with her stint as Anita Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain! has quit the show and reveals that it was not an impulsive decision.

Saumya Tandon had joined Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain in 2015 and from the past few days, there were speculations about her quitting the show but nothing was confirmed. In an interview with Bombay Times, Saumya Tandon revealed that she has quit the show and stated that August 21 will be her last day. Revealing the news of her not being a part of the show anymore, she requested people to stop speculating whether she will continue the show or not.

Saumya also admitted that she was scared when her hairdresser was tested positive for COVID-19. Talking about the same, Saumya revealed, “Not continuing with 'Bhabi Ji...' was not an impulsive decision. Yes, it is true that I was anxious after my hairdresser tested positive for coronavirus, and I did not want to put my elderly mother and one-and-a-half-year-old son at risk. But, I have completed my notice period.”

Saumya Tandon often shares glimpses with her baby boy, Miraan Tandon Singh. On the occasion of Woman’s Day last year, Saumya had taken to her IG handle and had shared a heart-melting note. Sharing an adorable picture with her son, Saumya had written, “This #womansday2019 I look at you and can’t believe I could create something as beautiful and precious like you. Women can create miracles and do impossible. In another interview with Pinkvilla, Saumya had revealed how her life has changed after giving birth to her baby boy. The 34-year-old actress had remarked, “It's quite a big change in my life. It was quite a tough process as I was working throughout my pregnancy. I began not so smoothly. My first trimester was quite bad. But yeah, I picked up. In fact, I was exercising a lot, for 2 hours a day during my third trimester. That kept me going and I was much better. I genuinely feel it's quite an achievement. It's quite overwhelming.”

Saumya had also shared what kind of parents she and her husband want to be for their kid. In the same chat, she had also revealed that it was not a planned baby and they were nervous. Saumya had quipped, “We are going to be fun parents. We were very nervous as it was not a planned baby. We were nervous as we will be becoming parents without planning for it. I was very nervous also because we are very sweet, little people so we were very scared of bringing a new life.
