Sara Tendulkar Wore Mirror-Work Gujarati Lehenga For 'Bhai' Arjun Tendulkar's Mehendi, Dons Parandi

It is celebration time for Arjun Tendulkar and his family as he is getting married to Saaniya Chandok. The wedding festivities began on March 3, 2026, in Mumbai. The first function was mehendi, and it was a starry night. Famous names from cricket, entertainment and politics joined the celebration to bless India's cricketing legend. However, the sister of the groom, Sara Tendulkar, looked the most beautiful.

On March 3, 2026, Arjun's sister, Sara, looked beautiful in a Gujarati lehenga. Her maroon-hued dress with multicoloured thread and mirror-work lehenga was the perfect choice for the mehendi function. Sara styled her look with a contrasting green-hued dupatta, and it was also hemmed with colourful mirror-work detailing.

Sara's outfit also featured a princess-cut half-sleeve choli with backless detailing. She accessorised her look with a matching necklace, a pair of earrings and a maang teeka. Subtle glowy makeup with glossy pink lips and a flush of pink on the cheeks completed her style. But the highlight was her unique hairstyle. She chose to tie her hair at the back in a braid, and she styled it with mirror-work parandi.

The celebration for Arjun and Saaniya's mehendi was attended by Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech, Irfan Pathan and his wife Safa Baig, Harbhajan Singh and his wife, Geeta Basra, Sagarika Ghatge and Zaheer Khan, Raj Thackarey and many more. The soon-to-be-married couple made their first appearance in front of the media. Arjun and Saaniya were accompanied by Sachin Tendulkar, Anjali Tendulkar and Sara Tendulkar.

The bride-to-be, Saaniya, was dressed up in a gorgeous silver mirror-work lehenga with a pink-hued net dupatta. However, the highlight of her look was her heavy kaleeras which made her stand out from the crowd. It is worth mentioning that kaleeras are the ornaments that are worn by a Punjabi bride on the day of the wedding. On the other hand, her groom looked handsome in a contrasting beige-hued sherwani. Anjali wore a purple-hued sharara while Sachin Tendulkar donned a green-hued kurta-pyjama with a floral jacket.

On August 13, 2025, reports of Arjun Tendulkar's engagement with Saaniya Chandok surfaced on the internet. The reports claim that it was a private affair. The ceremony was attended by close family and friends of the couple. However, neither Tendulkar nor the Ghai families gave any official statement regarding the same. 

According to media outlets, Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandok have been friends since childhood, and there are several photos of the couple. Not only this, Saaniya even shares a great bond with Arjun Tendulkar's sister, Sara Tendulkar. The two were spotted attending a wedding together earlier this year.
