In an interview with Pinkvilla, when Saif was asked whether he was surprised by Sara’s confidence on screen, he replied, “Yes and no. The thought behind her shot is clear. It’s amazing. Way better than what I was.” Saif elaborated further, “I’m so happy for her. This was her choice all the way. She chose this and made it happen. And I thought she was brilliant. A thinking actress who is expressive and inventive in every shot. I see a fantastic future for her.”

Sharing that Sara always dreamt of being an actor, Saif was quoted as saying, “She is used to being good at what she loves, but I thank the people for welcoming her and giving her the acceptance that an actor needs.” In another throwback interview, he expressed his nervousness upon Sara entering the film domain. Saif had shared, “(I am) A little nervous. Fear is the most driving factor in the industry. I am not looking down on acting, it's just it is not the most stable profession. And everyone lives in constant fear. And there is no guarantee that despite doing your best, you will succeed. This is not the life, any parent would want for their children."

In an interview with Mid-Day, when asked if she ever discusses work with her father, Sara Ali Khan had stated, “He [Saif Ali Khan] looks at me like I'm a traitor for discussing films. He lives with Kareena [Kapoor Khan], is a brother to Soha, and is an actor's son. So, now, if I discuss work, he's like, 'Please don't do this to me.' So, we don't talk about films often. We talk about history, argue about what Hitler's motivations were, or who was wrong in the Cold War. Sometimes, we discuss religion and how different beliefs and social systems came about. We both enjoy culture, travelling, good food, and great conversations." (Also Read: Kareena Kapoor Khan And Saif Ali Khan Don't Want To Cover Taimur Ali Khan's Face In Public)
