Drunk Sara Ali Touches Watchman, Old Video Surfaces, Netizens Say, 'Peene Ke Baad Hosh Nai Rehta..'

Sara Ali Khan has been in the limelight lately. This time, it is not because of her trips to Kedarnath or for her fitness video. A video has gone viral on social media where a heavily drunk Sara was seen tickling the hands of a watchman. She was seen in the city with her friend, Sharmin, and the duo entered a posh restaurant. Netizens quickly noticed how drunk the actress looked and was not even in a position to walk properly. However, she did not miss the chance to touch the watchman.

Netizens on Reddit shared a video where they noticed a drunk Sara Ali Khan misbehaved with the watchman. She had worn a navy blue hued jumpsuit and got slammed for touching the watchman. The actress never gave any justification for the act. However, in the viral video, Sara was seen holding Sharmin's hands as she entered a posh restaurant. The security guard was seen doing his duty at the restaurant's entrance. Sara entered the restaurant and did not miss the chance to touch the watchman's hand, who stood there reactionless.

Netizens react to drunk Sara Ali Khan touching the watchman inappropriately

Netizens were angry at Sara's inappropriate behaviour towards the watchman and questioned her daring. One user wrote, "How is this misogynist and sexist? It's clearly a groping incident.. kya matlab peene ke baad hosh nahi rehta...toh jo molestation cases hote hain due to drinking ( in case of men) woh toh misandry hona chaiye. She did it. She should apologise." Another one commented, "Apparantly they came up with logics like "drunk..not in hosh..chalta hai..heels were too high..tried to grab the handle of the door..friend could have grabbed her so lost balance". Something like that."

Netizens claimed that Sara had outrightly, subtly assaulted, and groped the watchman. They were not ready to accept that Sara may have made an honest mistake. They felt deeply for the security guard and thought it might have been a traumatic experience and slammed theories related to misogyny. Some users also felt that Sara had not touched the watchman intentionally as she was drunk.

As seen in the video, Sara looked very exhausted as she entered the posh restaurant. After being slammed by netizens, Vipul Roy, earlier in an interview with ETimes, had spoken about the incident. He questioned if the actress was seeking attention, teasing the security guard to give him a different high? He added:

"I see none of these, she didn't do it deliberately. Having said that, I also strongly support equality in law for men, women and the third gender."
