Sanya Malhotra is one of the most sought-after actresses in the current generation of Bollywood. She has mesmerised zillions with her versatile performances, both on the silver screen as well as on OTT. It was in 2016 when she made her debut with a phenomenal role in the Aamir Khan-starrer film, Dangal. However, apart from her professional achievements, Sanya often helms headlines over her personal life.
In a recent interaction with Filmfare, Sanya Malhotra made a quirky revelation about her personal life. The diva, who usually prefers to keep it under wraps when it comes to addressing romance in her life, mentioned that the last relationship she had was more like a situationship. Explaining how it felt like hanging in the mid-air, Sanya said:
“Last one was a situationship. So it's not a relationship and not even a dating phase. Or maybe you're dating the person but still figuring it out. So it's neither here nor there, it's in the middle.”

Continuing with her line of thought, Sanya then remarked how she got the biggest learning of her life while being in the situationship itself. She explained how that form of dating isn’t suited for her, and she would instead be very direct and vocal about her feelings, rather than keeping the other person hanging in confusion. In her words:
“I figured out situationships are not for me! When you like a person, you like them. Go date them. Don't keep them hanging.”
Earlier, during a candid conversation with Uorfi Javed, Sanya Malhotra remembered a peculiar anecdote from her early days in films. The actress recalled how someone from the showbiz world suggested that she should go under the knife and get her jaw reconstructed to enhance her facial beauty. Reminiscing the suggestion, Sanya mentioned that now, she doesn’t get any such demands and she lives her life through her own decisions.

Previously, while speaking to Hauterrfly, Sanya Malhotra shared a very scary incident of her life which she faced while travelling on the Delhi metro. She narrated how while returning home from college, a group of boys eve-teased her and even touched her inappropriately. She expressed:
“I was alone so I stayed quiet. It was such a situation when I couldn’t do anything. They started teasing and touching. I felt helpless but I knew if I will say anything, anything can happen. People generally say, ‘Kuch kara kyun nahi tumne?’ But when that situation comes, haath, paer phool jaate hain. You only want to survive that situation.”
